When you tell someone this, always be sure to remind them that there's a reason that Vim mode is in every editor.

It's because barebones vim doesnt compare to a modern IDE and setting it up to be like a modern ide is one hell of a process. Vim keybindings in a modern editor are the way to go for most people.
