@@Deezsirrer haha. No need to report. Step by step in the sense, everyone creates videos within 15 minutes. Which skips a lot of tiny steps,and that bothers many beginners. But MAGNET VFX goes over every little step. That's what i meant.

this is great! im new to unreal and this will help a lot! one tip i have for you is to work with real scale! like that you wont have to keep resizing the assets since most will try to sick with real world scale

Your content is unvaluable!! This is the most quality channel I have found regarding how to create environments! I'm trying to recreate this tutorial, and I have one big doubt! Why if I have picked up the same exact materials as you from quixels, yours are way more desaturated? I mean my bricks are more red toned. Did you modify the original materials?? The size of the Megascan assets are usually correct, so just make sure you create your world with a scale size so you don't have to scale every thing down to it. Not to say how much problem it creates if you plan to make your world playable in a game!

For those who finished and want to look at their EXR sequence in AE, here's how to do it. You need AE 2023 (version 23.4.0), older versions may do it but I can't say. When importing from AE (double click inside the project panel or CTRL + i) you need to select the 1st image of your EXR files (this is important), then click on the last while maintaining shift. This will select all your EXR file. Click import and voila! I imported my Unreal EXR render this way into AE.

I dont dislike this at all but I think for the future it would be better to make sure and also teach people to work in the correct world size instead of just randomly scaling down all the assets that come with correct size. I would assume none of this works well if you drop a playable character as it would be a giant in this scene^^

Not that this isnt a valid issue but if u did need to resize the entire scene u can do so by adding a cube (anywhere in the scene) then renaming it something noticeable like "Resizer" then select all the assets in the scene with cntrl + a then cntrl click on the resizer to unselect it from the menu. now finally right click on 1 of the selected assets and select "attach to" select the cube from the list and then unselect everything and select just the cube. now u can resize the cube to scale everything at once. (also dont scale on just 1 axis, only scaling all axis at once works properly.) also note that once your done scaling u can either hide its visibility from game view or just delete it.

In my humble opinion, if you are creating a scene for a cinematic shot the scale doesn´t matter that much, as you are trying to achieve good visuals only for specific shot or video sequence. But I agree, correct scale is the key in case you are going to create a game environment :-)
