Eating in one big plate is basically an Islamic culture. In some Muslim families and weddings too, food is served in a big plate so that everyone can eat together and also this way they can avoid wastage of food.

Now I'm not saying you must believe in this, you are free to not, but Islam is not a representation of Arab culture. Much of Arab culture used to be very different before Islam, and now like all cultures with a strong presence of Islam, it has islamic elements. Clearly, you aren't knowledgeable on the topic. Don't go around attempting to educate people on the difference between Culture and Islam then.

It's the Highest grossing Indian movie of this year and Third Highest grossing Indian movie of all time. You should definitely watch it. It's a fun roller coaster ride with right amounts of emotions 😊❤️ And about the food sharing thing, not all have that big plate to share 😔 And he is not smuggling meat, he is making tandoori mutton for his lunch. And the human pyramid thing is what people do when they see something interesting tied up at that height 😊 ❤️

No we Hindus don't share same plate. It's mainly Muslim of gulf county who do that and some Muslim s who think there are descendents of Arabic invaders associate with them and follow this culture. We normally eat in separate plate specially on banana leaf, this is because of it's more higenic.

Number one eating on separate plates is no indicator of superior hygiene. In most Indian households and varied cultures we wash our hands to ensure hygiene. Two it's a sign of absolute trust and love to share your plate with someone else. Something you do with a loved one. Don't spread hatred bro.

@@khastakochuri i never said eating in different plate ensures superior hygiene, infact its because of hygienic concern we eat in different plates. Also in fertile land like india we have the liberty compared to arid regions. I am not spreading hate here I just want to educate people there are several Mandi and other restaurants being opened which are promoting Arabic culture which might be good for that region but not india. There are few things which might be good in their culture and we can absorbe it but not this, hope you got my point. People in gulf countries practice it mainly due to 2 reasons first there is water scarcity so they can't afford to wash so many utensils. They it's a arid region so they don't have much greenery to afford eating on leaf plates.

6:51 it's not common , but we don't feel gross while sharing food. I share my dinner plate with mom everyday. When my cousin come to our home during family gathering we all brothers and sisters eat in same plate. It's a cultural shock for many countries especially European countries, I heard that in German family dayout, family members don't even share there different variety burgers with each other. If same happen in Asia majorly, everyone going to take a bite from each other's burgers.

Great reaction and so glad you get it on the music part. You would enjoy it even more if you knew the language, the lyrics, many times poetry, adds a whole new dimension to the experience. Also, the context would help you actually understand the scenes, there are many layers in this (esp. theme of fire and water, impending clash, fire/water comingto make steam etc.)

That game you saw where a pyramid of men were build to go on the top for breaking the pot do really exist. It happens every year during 'Ganesh Chaturthi' a famous festival of India and largely celebrated in the state of Maharashtra. There use to be competition of breaking the pot filled with money and i think milk or curd. I'm not fully aware of the complete ritual so our friends from Maharashtra can shed some light of information on it. It mostly happens during the month of either August or September. This year the date is 31st August; the birthday celebration of Hindu God 'Lord Ganesha' actual celebrations starts 10 days before the actual date in other parts of India however I've heard that in Maharashtra it's an entire month celebration.

The human pyramid and braking of the pot- this is an annual festival dedicated to Krishna, the pot contains freshly churned butter. Which Krishna, as an young boy use to steal. Now a days it may have cash in the pot or some kind of expensive gift. It is a Competition between sever groups. The aim is to build the pyramid and steal the pot.... DOSTI means friendship The one plate sharing is a Muslim tradition. And nowadays it probably happens on on day of EID, Muslim new year....

That "human pyramid" like thing was from the festival "Janamashtami", birthday of Lord Krishna. An earthen pot filled with butter is hung high on a rope and a group of people have to reach it by making human pyramid and break it. There are certain groups which specially train for this and enter different competions, too, often organized on this day.
