Can a kind soul please answer my question? HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR DRIFT METER WHILE JUMPING?!..every time I try I lose my drift meter and it’s boost potential when I jump but I see it works for Leth!! HOW?! If your confused what I mean re-watch this video and watch when Leth drifts and then has to jump over a hazard (18:18 is a great example of this happening)

@lethamyr @DannyLotus I can confirm that the catch up mechanic is a thing. Ive been keeping track of all my race times for every ranked race. Almost all of my fastest times are from races where I didn't win. The one that clinched it for me was one Tilted Turnpike race where I had died 5 times but still beat my PB by 4 or 5 seconds, which is far to much to be explained away by drafting alone. If you need extra hands to set up a 12 person lobby to test lmk

@@LilDoNFNIn a way it’s nice because if you die too many times you can easily catch back up by doing shortcuts and timing boosts. The downside is everybodies catching up to me while i’m in 1st

There is some weird programming in this game, when you are behind your car seems quicker, I hit diamond 3 in this game and stopped playing, takes like 50 races for next rank. Anyway Leth is so good at those complex tracks.

I made a list of all my best maps and Cliff Runner 2 is literally #2, I just love that map, winning it like 50% of the time, and the other 50% is #2 or #3. (Champ lobbies, 5% missing for Unreal)

Wether you respond up to you, I coach drifters. As a RR Unreal your expectations are higher, your weaknesses are not being able to recover any situation. I've fixed that for multiple people.

I started typing this earlier on in the video and then deleted it cos I didn't want to sound picky for no reason, but then later Danny actually mentioned it himself in passing so I'm just gonna GO FOR IT (lol). I do wish the devs were a bit more imaginative with the race hazards than the random red blobs and blocks. Like... rocks? How about a mine or something? A big boot or something that spawns a tornado (giving a nod to the Rumble power-ups on RL)... I'm sure there are better things they could do than that, I'm just spit balling to prove a point. I know this isn't exactly designed to be the most realistic racing game in the world, but what *are* those hazards? Digital death Lego? Disco lava? Bruh.

DAY 5 - IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time you score its based off of the angle towards the center of the net. This rewards harder to hit shots, I think it would play very well!!! PLEASE LIKE TO GET LETH THIS IDEA!!!

If Leth didn't kill Danny on Anaconda (under temple) and on Cliff Runner 2 (don't know what th have happened there) because of desync, I think Danny would get it. 2 unlucky server accidents ruined the whole run xD

I am not saying this to complain - just making my voice heard. I dislike Rocket Racing and watching the content is even worse. I'm glad Leth's having fun and I completely get the appeal for him to push playing it more as a content creator. But sadly, I've seen enough of this now for my own tastes and it just depresses me seeing this played and how Rocket League is right now.
