Spot-on review! After I tried it 2 player and solo, with 2 players it was much more fun and interesting.

I was looking at late pledging and this was super helpful! This one would likely not get to the table with my group - so I will likely just put this on my want to play list and not want to buy and see if someone has it. I really appreciate your content!

I like it. The publisher actually reached out after watching this and has offered to send their new release for review. This time a solo game. I hope it pans out.

@@markdandridge4433 well the solo mode will be for a new game, Spirit Fire I think? But the same idea of non-combat exploration and puzzle solving. No official solo mode for Unsettled.

Do you think this would be fine for the sort of solo player that plays games like like Arkham horror LCG or Marvel Champions two handed? I'm used to playing two characters in solos and play Champions mostly as single scenarios so campaigns aren't a must-have. Maybe I would ack interactivity without another player, but if you're playing anything solo you aren't really expecting interactivity anyway right? Unless you're saying there's not much going for the game beyond that interactivity?

You would absolutely be fine with this. The only extra thing to be aware is that you don’t only control one hand at a time. While playing one character you can activate the other characters free actions and special actions of you choose. This can be fixed by laying out your table well so you don’t lose track of which free actions go with which character.

I just played this solo last night first mission. I really enjoyed this game. I played all 4 characters for solo though. When I play solo I use max player count always for games.
