I just wanted to say how grateful I am for your videos and how lucky we are to have such great content produced so frequently. You're covering ground that nobody else is covering on KZfaq, so it's more niche, but there are definitely people (like me) with sustained interest in this stuff.

Can you do a Multi-Brand comparison of similar Product Lines? Like when you just picked the Acro vs JetStream; but cover a wider breadth of companies across the board for a Multi Pen Brand Shoot out in similar Ink Type, Barrel Class categories and rank them? Take a Ink-Type (BallPoint / Gel / RollerBall / FeltTip / Fountain Pen / etc); let's pick BallPoint for ease of choices. And compare the main product lines against each other across all the companies, brands, National Brand Representation in a all out Pen Battle Royale! For Companies & Nations you can choose to represent:

Of all the Acro/Acroball pens, my favorite is the Acro 1000. The bit of extra weight and metallic-looking barrel does up the 300 a notch. I also enjoy the Acroball multi but prefer the 3-color barrel over the 4. I'm a huge fan of brown/gold pens (with me being a collector of sorts) and have been tempted to get the Drive in copper, but I don't know if the 30 gram weight would be too heavy for my liking. I REALLY like the white/black and gold/black Drive, both unique looking to me. Thanks for the video!

I like how the Pilot Acroball ink glides smoothly on the paper surface while writing. I have the Acroball standard series and the Pilot Acro 300, which costs 300 yen in Japan (Php 120.38 in the Philippines).😊😉✍️🖊🇵🇭

Fun fact: The Acro Pro is pretty much the only Acro pen you can find both online and in real life in Turkey aside from the occasional regular Acroball (the pen you first showed in the video) listing

Great video! Where were you able to find those new Acro Drives with the black clips?

It seems that Uni isn't very keen on Central European market because I cannot buy Uniball other than buying from large office supplier. Acroball is everywhere but G2 or Frixion are generally more popular. That kind of exposure is maybe the reason why I prefer Acroball before Uniball.

Where did you find those colors of the Acro Drive? Those were NICE.

Thank you very much for this video. I've been using Pilo Acroballs for years, even though they don't sell them where I'm from (so I need to buy them from Amazon or the like). Now, the only thing I don't like about the Acroball ink is that it turns green over time. Is there any way to combat that? Or, would you have any recommendation for a similar pen that does not have that problem?

I like heavier pens, its difficult to find a twist pen thats about 2-2.5 oz.

I was wondering, why do Uni and some Japanese brands make their Pen Tip Points in 0.#8? Like Uni has entire Pen Tip Lines in 0.38 mm, 0.28 mm, 0.18 mm. Today, when I was at a local Maido Stationary Shop, even some Tombow pens had 0.38 mm pens. I was like WTF? Pilot & Pentel don't bother with that non-sense generally. Most other Japanese vendors would rather have 0.4mm, 0.3mm, 0.2mm Why does Uni and some other companies waste their effort when they designed that extra 0.#8, instead of sizing up to the whole 0.# mm? Is there a logical point in designing the Pen Tip to that size? Are they striving to be Unique from their competitors? I'm pretty sure most folks won't care about that 0.02 mm difference and would rather have an easier to search through catelog / online query results that doesn't have 0.#8mm to go compare against another companies equivalent. With certain numbers / fractions, I can understand why they go two digits past the Decimal place. 0.25mm can be written as ¼ mm or 0.333… mm can be written as ⅓ mm. Those sizes I understand since you can substitute the decimals for fractions =D and the come out to nice common fractions that look good on the packaging and product. But you can't do that for all Pen Tip sizes. Only certain fractions look good numerically compared to the simple 0.# mm.

Where did you get the green M?

I'm having a hard time finding the Acro 300 in 0.5mm or smaller tip sizes.
