I watched this episode as a kid and afterwards I was convinced that if I looked out my window at night a Bigfoot would be outside, staring in at me. I had nightmares for weeks. Watching this as an adult, it seems so silly that this, of all things, would scare me, considering the fact that I loved horror movies as a kid. Demons, blood, gore, and Freddy Krueger? Meh. Michael Goodwin (Mickey Thompson's ex-business partner) had the Thompson's killed because he stole money from his business and wasn't paying the bills he was supposed to pay. They filed a lawsuit against Goodwin which angered him even more and he made numerous threats towards them that he was going to kill them. Goodwin is the ultimate coward, he'll never admit any of it and the hitmen still haven't been identified. The 2 sketches of the hitmen need to be age enhanced if anyone is going to catch these bastards. Author Nick Santora wrote a book on the Thompson killings. Santora was only 17 at the time of the murders.

Ive been a truck driver for the past 15 years and seen alot of crazy things. Through out my whole life I used to think people who seen bigfoot were full of crap until the summer of 2015 i had a brief encounter/sighting in Wyoming between a town called Meeteetse and Cody on hwy 120 mm72. It was around 9pm there was twilight. I was adjusting the radios when someone or something in all black ran in front of my truck causing me to slam on my brakes! Thinking i had almost hit someone i stopped. What i saw was something that will haunt me for the rest of my life It was a human like being around 5ft 51/2 maybe? Very skinny not anorexic all in black with a small head. It ran across the road in a strange locomotion with its arms swinging upright. It had quickly and eerily reached the cattle fence and side jumped the fence so effortlessly. It ran down into the ravine and kept running until out of sight. Till this day i dont know what i saw but i know i wasn't human. I now dont go outdoors alone and without a firearm. Please be careful while outdoors and keep your loved ones and pets close.

My only experience with a possible Big Foot encounter: I was out in the backyard of a house up in Oregon, the house was near the edge of the woods. Early in the morning I saw a big bush being shaken violently by something. No wind yet, no sounds leading up to all of it, and the only sound was a low growling noise. Mountain lion, bear? Maybe, but that was it.

I agree, and though it is not the same in format or style and it, of course, lacks Robert Stack (or any host), the newly rebooted series on Netflix is very well produced. I recommend it. This original show was incredibly expensive to produce, but such a budget was feasible in the days of broadcast network television with audiences in the tens of millions and companies willing to pay large amounts of money to advertise to them. Accordingly, the Netflix show is a less grand (and a less “tabloid”) affair. Each episode only focuses on one case, there are no staged re-enactments and there have only been about six episodes in each of the two seasons that have been released so far. It deals almost exclusively with unsolved deaths, murders or disappearances. Only one show has dealt with the paranormal and that was about UFO sightings across several New England communities several decades ago.

On April 19, 1989, Michael and Sharon were arrested outside of an auto parts store in Mobile, Alabama. They were using the aliases "Steve and Mary Bostwick" and living in a trailer behind a house on the outskirts of Mobile. A viewer contacted the FBI after she recognized Michael as a man who had recently painted her house. On July 7, he was returned to a California prison. Sharon was returned to prison for violating parole. The attempted murder charge against Michael was later dropped. He was sentenced to sixteen years in prison for assault and armed robbery. They both served time and have since been released. Officer Arnold was later convicted of embezzling money from the police union. He was killed by the FBI when they tried to arrest him for bank robbery in 1995.

Yes and once provided with evidence that meets the burden of proof, we are no longer skeptics and admit we were wrong. Want us to believe bigfoot is real? Give us something better than shakey home movies, blurry photos, and testimony of people alone in the woods.

@@patrickperalta59 by that logic we have ancient tales of fire breathing dragons that long predate Hollywood. The oldest that I can think of off the top of my head is Beowulf which is believed to have been written between 975 and 1025. If I told you I saw one while I was out for a hike and told you about how it swooped down from the sky to pick up a bear, flash fry it with it's breath and eat it in one bite. Would you believe me or would you want more than just my word?

My mom and her sisters saw a bigfoot when they were little; They were living in the country in Thomas, Oklahoma. The bigfoot was standing by a tree watching them, they ran inside to my grandmother. My grandmother ran around the house closing and locking all doors and windows, grabbed the shotgun and waited. The bigfoot walked out of the treeline, stepped over a barbed wire fence and disappeared into the other side of the wooded area of thier property. They never saw it again. Grandma, along with a shotgun, always accompanied them outdoors; Also, they lived next to a creek. I've noticed most sightings are near bodies of water. I believe they exist. I've never seen one and I hope never do! 😬😬😬

Some states, especially the in the South, have so overfilled their jails and prisons that they can not afford to keep anyone locked up if they can make bail. Prisons, jails, trials and police - the whole law enforcement and justice sector/industry are very expensive. Running society on low or no taxes (at least for the rich) and “small government” has social consequences and this can be one of them.

I believe Sasquatch are out there, but I also believe a lot of the tracks or footprints are bear tracks. While the bear is walking, the back paws are stepping or partially stepping into the front paw print, creating what looks like one massive “footprint”.

If George Stein really was Ed Fay, I don't think anyone else would have known anyways even if he married and had kids. (I doubt he wanted to go back to prison) I think he had the intention to either withdraw the money or give it to someone else but prob died before he could. What did they do with that money though? I highly doubt this case will ever be solved.
