the new version will never "go there" the way the original did. There is zero free speech media now.
@sir_john_hammond3 жыл бұрын
@@zombienomicon9682 if that were totally true we would not have these old episodes to enjoy. I think it's more that those capable of putting out media with those kind of budgets don't think that format and content would fly anymore, the culture has also changed somewhat as well but there would still be a big demand for it. Just look at the way people still react to fiction with 80s themes and paranormal elements, like Stranger Things. One of the biggest shows out there.

The new one's biggest mistake is doing one case per episode. It dragged OOOOOON and OOOOON. I like these because they go straight to the point, get in, and get out -- and invite people to solve it. The new one just feels like random documentaries.

Since the Las Cruces Bowling Alley massacre, the bowling alley was sold and first renamed Sun Lanes, and later, Ten Pin Alley. It has since closed. Despite an extensive investigation, the suspects have yet to be identified or brought to justice. The manager of the bowling alley, Stephanie Senac, passed away in 1999. Ida has reported that she still suffers from headaches and PTSD as a result of the attack. She still hopes that one day the case will be closed.

I believe you're talking about "Nightmare in Las Cruces." Yes it is good and yes it slams you over the head with how barbaric this cowardly attack was. Especially the 2 year old girl. They interviewed the lead detective for the Las Cruces Bowling Alley Massacre in 2021. He said, "Some of the people who have been suspected of this crime in the past, their names have popped up again. And even though they've been looked into, I've decided we're going to do it all over again." By starting the investigation over (which has solved some cold cases in the past), they are hoping to find something they missed the first time. Additionally, that statement sure seems to indicate they have prime suspects or they are certain they know who the shooters were. They do have fingerprints and shoe prints recovered at the scene, but they do not have DNA. Hopefully, they find that one bit of evidence that allows them to make arrests.

Interestingly enough, Moldea eventually switched sides because he went in and interviewed Sirhan......and realized he was lying to him. Everytime Sirhan has a supposed "gap" in his memory....it goes to motive, means, and opportunity. Moldea also stopped thinking about the crime scene in terms of a static model. In such a case (when people are panicking) all sorts of awkward movements (at any point in time) will be occur. (That eyewitness testimony won't reflect.) Kennedy most likely turned his back to Sirhan (realizing he is under attack) and that's how he got hit in the back of the head. Also, this 3-6 feet away stuff.......Sirhan may have well been 3' away, but you extend your arm (with a gun at the end).....and that 3' gets closed up pretty fast. Bottom line: I think Sirhan did it.

Unless I'm missing something, couldn't the bullets have passed through people and been embedded in the walls? The LAPD could state that all the bullets from the gun were recovered... some from the walls. How could a second shooter be in the room and yet no-one saw them fire a gun and yet they did see Sirhad firing? Surely, if there was a second shooter, people in the room would have heard the shots and turned to face said second shooter.

Not necessarily,2 shots could technically be masked as 1. You need a skilled shooter to pull it off.

Sirhan Sirhan has appealed his conviction several times, claiming that the second shooter had killed Kennedy. However, each time his appeal has been denied. A man named Scott Enyart claims that he was in the kitchen when Kennedy was shot and took several photographs of the shooting. However, he claims that his film was taken by investigators that night. He sued the LAPD in an attempt to get his photographs returned. The photographs would later be stolen by an unidentified individual. It is unknown if the photographs had anything on them that would suggest that another shooter was involved. In 2007, analysis of one of the audio recordings of the shooting appeared to indicate that at least thirteen shots had been fired, instead of eight. Although some audio experts confirmed this number of shots, others stated that they could only hear eight shots. In 2012, an eyewitness changed her story about the events of the shooting. She claimed that she had heard two guns firing at the time that Kennedy was shot. She said at least twelve shots were fired and that the shots came from two different locations. She also claimed that the LAPD changed her account of the shooting. Her testimony seems to match several other witnesses who claimed to have heard more than eight shots coming from two different locations.

My great uncle was a maker, inventor of small gadgets, and he dabbled in a little bit of everything. He was always taking things apart and changing stuff, usually to make it better. He was extremely interested in surveillance and spy gear. He never used his gadgets for nefarious purposes but he thought it was fun to construct small items to spy on us. Years ago things like that were kind of sci-fi type thinking. He made a purse for my great aunt, this purse was fitted with a tiny video camera he made. The camera was hidden and the purse could still be functional as a purse only the recording time was mere minutes, like 5 minutes or so, I can't remember exactly how long it would record. The first trial run that it was used was in Dallas when JFK was shot. You wouldn't believe what is on that tape. We watched it years ago and now nobody in the family knows where the tape went. Everything is not what you think it is.
