The only people that I know of that still has landlines are my grandparents and my mother. I think more likely it was an accident. The boyfriend accidentally killed her while trying to take the shotgun from her. And his friends and family members lied for him not wanting him to go to prison for manslaughter, which can carry up to 5-10 years. I don't think it was premeditated murder, just seems unlikely he'd shoot her on purpose like that out on a street with so many potential witnesses.

No, but FilmRise (the people with the rights to this old series I think) took the liberty of checking for updates and added them in before allowing the series to be reuploaded on KZfaq. So if you see updates added in text with no voice that's how you know that's an update that came in after the show ended.

Few or none of the releases there or on YT are the exact same running order as originally aired. However, the Donald Eugene Webb revelation featured here came in July, after the first two seasons were uploaded to Amazon in early 2017, so this update, which is now on Amazon as well, is even more recent. The reissue of these modfied seasons has increased traffic at the old unsolved website as well as led to reevaluation of some cold cases.

All relevant questions that at least 1 or some, if not all, should have been brought up on the show. The mother denying the adoption of her daughter, and no mention at least of her putting her up & then changing her mind, or questioning why the court had her daughter there for the adoption proceedings...quite alot of information left out that should've been knowingly included in the program.

The mothers rights to her kidnapped daughter were ILLEGALLY terminated to hand her daughter over to the baby mill. She had NO CUSTODY to contest because the ruling had been made. This was a series of organised kidnappings that took minutes at the most and were obviously not noticed as the kids were not screaming in terror and trusted the lady "taking them on a holiday". Also, this was a very different time period too obviously. Putting all the information in would have helped, but the episode would have been far too long. We'd have both watched it, I know, but I'm guessing time restrictions factored in too. Any way, I hope you're having a great 2022 and take care🙂

Agreed. There's much more grit to that scandal. For instance, the 'ugly' babies were left to starve in their cribs & buried in unmarked graves. 'Ugly' children didn't attract cu$tomers; Georgia couldn't make money off of them. So instead of providing she literally let them starve.

As I got older, I'd go on long walks and bike rides all over town. I'd explore the swamp and poke around the empty buildings on the fairgrounds. Cases of stranger abductions are extremely rare, but they're also extremely dramatic and scary, so we're more likely to hear about them. The vast majority of kidnappings are by close friends and family.

Detailed circumstances like her not being able to shoot from that angle will always be vague and undetermined. How do we know for sure that was the angle she shot herself from? How do we know the shotgun didn't just fall on the car from the recoil? All this info can be distorted by time or just sheer denial by the parties involved. When a child commits suicide, the parents blame themselves. Their pain is unbearable so to protect themselves they insist their child was murdered instead. Authorities know this, which is why they refuse to reopen the case. People here are absolutely certain her ex killed her, even going so far as openly speculating he was related to some police higher ups. Imagine that. He probably watched this episode and had to live with the fear of being wrongfully convicted for the rest of his life. Not to mention the impact this had on his social life. Her parents were the real evil. Unable to process their emotions they shift the blame on someone else. It reminds me of the parents of the girl who fell of a cruiseship while drunk and are absolutely convinced she got kidnapped and sold into sexual slavery in some sort of grand conspiracy. The simplest explanations are almost always true.
