I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. kzfaq.infoUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

Your method reminds me of a story my father told me about a tow truck operator who made a bet with a dozer operator he could drive it out of the mud it was buried in. The operator said it was impossible and took the bet. The tow truck operator chained crossties onto the tracks. The dozer walked up on top of the mud. As the ties came out behind the dozer he took them off to chain them onto the front. A lot of messy work but he made some nice coin off the operator. The operator said it worth it because he now knew he would never have to call him again.

Thank you very much. I like your idea -- Especially since your system not only got the mower out of the hole but also allowed the mower to continue to drive out of the wet field. For the many (like me) who may get stuck in much smaller wet areas - and don't have the very good tires you have I would like to recommend a $54.95 item which is a FAST solution to get out of a smaller area after a mower has dug itself in --- available on Amazon. Search exactly --- " Portable Tire Traction Mats ". The ones in the black color set are 36 inches long -- DON'T get cheaper shorter ones. I bought these in 2012 when they were only $35 and the color than was orange. They are marked which side and end to use under the tire. They have saved me many times.

Its not even that heavy of a mower. Quickest way would be to grab it by the front and wiggle that little toy outta there. Come'on now, city boy!

LTD Lawn Service Don’t you just hate internet know-it-alls. Looks like you own a lawn service. I just bet your employees would have time to do all of this bs. I’m a farmer of 50 yrs. I would never waste time with such foolery. Looks like city guy syndrome. Lord what a waste of time and energy just to make a video.

I had a Simplicity Conquest for 15 years but ended up burning to the ground when the engine was hunting, it back fired and burned to the ground. Thanks to Allstate I bought a new Simplicity Champion XT Zero Turn. So far I've used it on three occasions and got stuck three times. If I had it to do over again I'd buy another Conquest which would easily have lasted another 15 years. The hunting thing could have happened to any tractor. In the meantime I'll keep this idea in mind if towing it out of the mud with my Tahoe won't do it.

Thanks so much and thanks for watching. Mine was getting stuck so much, I invested in a set of cheap atv tires and now I rarely get stuck.

@oldtimefarmboy93306 жыл бұрын
Buy another set of rear wheels and use those bolt holes to bolt the extra wheels up to the original. That way you spread your weight over a larger area and get better flotation and traction on the wet soil. Also, letting some air out of the tires so the bottom flattens out and covers a larger area can help, just raise the mower up to compensate for lower frame height.
@chud3276 жыл бұрын
Funny that you would say that, have you seen my dually mower projects before? I love duals on my mud mowers, but on a grass cutter, it would lead to a bunch more weed eating. I don't usually take this on out in the soft stuff... Thanks so much for the comment and for watching,

Apollo 29 Actually, it's called slotted U-channel strut, since you want to be nitpicky. People have called it Unistrut because of the brand that invented it being so big. It's like how no one actually says "Open-end adjustable wrench" unless you're in the military, they just call it a crescent wrench.

@fuckjoebiden49766 жыл бұрын
waste management fan11, my thoughts exactly. Then, "Well, I guess I can go ahead & show you how stuck it is", SMH. If you're unsure of how the ground condition is, WALK IT first! BUT then again, if you've got more money than brains then, by all means, go ahead & tear up your equipment. Just wait until you've gotta shell out a few hundred bucks on hydro repairs or even a new mower just so you can make a self-proclaimed cool YT video.

@chud3276 жыл бұрын
My truck and the Altima would have never made it out there, I would have had to have a 300 snatch rope. You could have suggested the tractor to get it out, that would have been more likely to work. Thanks for watching.
@jknewb62766 жыл бұрын
chud327 lol I didn't know ya had a tractor only seen 10+ mowers and a altima pulling a pretty sweet home ade pontoon boat,and if the tractor was a better choice why didn't you do it? Oh yeah the views! 11 minute vid at least 2 hours of preparing just to pull out a zero turn...it was my opinion expect many more there sunshine

My tractor is actually running on about 1/2 power currently. I think it needs a new fuel pump, but can't seem to find one. Until I figure out the mystery, I will have to not get seriously stuck...

I thought I was the only one that ever got a zero-turn stuck. I made a lever out of a 10 ft 2 by 4 and a brick. Then I lift it up and put my Stihl lawn mower ramps under it. Works almost every time.
@chud3275 жыл бұрын
I might need to try that next time and thanks for watching.
@damienbull81605 жыл бұрын
Now just throw a 2×4 under the back of it and it'll pop it right on out. Putting those on the tires first and then slide a 2×4 for behind the tires. 8 foot 2 by 4 all the way across and it'll come right out in reverse!
@chud3274 жыл бұрын
That might just work and thanks for watching.
