सोनू निगम एक बेहद वर्सेटाइल और टैलेंटेड सिंगर हैं और इनका स्वभाव भी बहुत विनम्र और हंसमुख है। ये हर किसी का बहुत सम्मान करते हैं. सोनू जी उदित नारायण को अपना गुरु मानते हैं। जिस इंसान की सोच और व्यक्तित्व इतनी अच्छी हो, उनको कोई बुड़ा कैसे कह सकता है? सोनू निगम जी ने हमेशा अपने अधिकार के लिए बोला और लड़ा। साथ ही उन्होंने भारतीय सिंगरों के हक में आवाज भी उठाया। इन्होंने जहां भी गलत देखा उसके खिलाफ आवाज उठाया, और लोगों को सच्चाई बताई, जैसे कि इंडियन आइडल में जब ये जज थे तो इन्हें पहले से बता दिया जाता था कि आपको क्या-क्या करना है। इन्होंने ऐसा करने से साफ-साफ मना कर दिया था। साथ ही लोगों को बताया कि उसमें क्या-क्या नाटक होते हैं, सब कुछ पहले से तय रहता है, इन सब बातों से उन्होंने पर्दा उठाया था. फिल्मों के गानों से म्यूजिक कंपनी को जितनी कमाई होती है उसका कुछ हिस्सा सिंगर को भी मिलना चाहिए, इसके लिए भी उन्होंने खूब आवाज उठाया और लड़ा। इनके जैसा बहुमुखी प्रतिभा का धनी व्यक्ति नहीं मिलेगा. जो भी हुआ हो इनके साथ लेकिन मैं हमेशा सोनू निगम का समर्थन करूंगा.

Sonu Nigam is a versatile singer of all time. It’s a shame that with such a beautiful voice was rejected as a playback singer in music industry. Sonu Nigam is modern time singer and is talented and has given us awesome melodies songs. He is my favourite singer. Each singer’s hold their unique voices and their style of singing. We cannot replace the singers that are no longer among us like:- Lataji; Mohd Rafi; Talta Mehmood ; Greta Dutt;Surayia; Manna Dey; Mekesh; Noor Jahan ; Shahshed Began; and so forth. mere fav. Sonu Nigam hai. o jis way se bolte hai, uska koi bhi andaja nahi laga sakte. iska matlab hai k Sonu Nigam ko kisi ne pehchana nahi. कोउ कुछ भी कहे कोई भी बहाना बनाये but the fact is के सोनू निघम जैसा बेहतरीन गायक और म्यूजिक की इतनी ज्यादा समझ रखने वाला, इतनी इज़्ज़त देने वाला, जो सिर्फ एक गायक नही बल्कि पूरा एक Institution एक गुरुकुल की तरह है, जो शख्स 10% भी उनकी गायकी को समझ गए उसको सुरीला बनने से कोई नही रोक सकता.. रफ़ी साहेब के बाद आज के दौर का कोई बेहतरीन गायक हैँ तो वो सोनू जी.. उनकी सफलता और उनकी बराबरी ना कर पाने की जलन को लेकर इंडस्ट्रीज के कुछ लोगो ने उनके साथ ऐसा किया.. वरना सोनू जी जैसा बन पाना हर किसी के बस की बात नही... उनकी जगह मेरे जैसे हज़ारो लाखों लोगो के दिल में हैँ और उम्र भर रहेगी चाहे उनको इंडस्ट्रीज काम मिले या ना मिले.. मुझे 1995 का वो दिन अभी तक याद है जब nestle ने maggie को प्रमोट करने के लिए ग़ाज़ियाबाद के स्कूलों में GK क्विज करवाया जिसमें मेरा सिल्वरलाइन स्कूल प्रथम आया और सोनू निगम को बच्चों को पुरस्कृत करने आये थे अपने अथक परिश्रम से जो उन्होंने संगीत की दुनिया में नाम कमाया उसके लिये उन्हें बधाई व बहुत सारी शुभ कामनाएँ सोनू जी क्या अब आप कभी सिल्वरलाइन स्कूल आयेंगे 😊?
