Very honest, straightforward discussion. I don't fully agree that before 1977 there was economic boom in Pakistan. USA and UK were very powerful then and were fully supporting Pakistan and forex in the form of grants, projects and loans were coming in.

Touchwood in india we are very grateful to PM Modi...... earlier 2014 there were lots of power cut in night and day time.... approximately 7 hrs daily but since 2016 i rarely remember when my home lights turned off and rarely find bill which is more than 800 INR ❤❤❤❤❤ Love my mother land madhya pradesh, India 😅

I fully agree with Qaisar Bengali Saheb about the need to cut defense and other public expenses. This kind of crisis requires action on many fronts with twin strategies for medium and short term and long term. Sacrifice from every one will be required but elite should be willing to share much higher burden than lower and middle class.
