Do you have any fond memories of Townley’s?

What a nice town history you showed me. It's sad to see the old parts of the town, changing. That milk plant seemed so family friendly.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget Townley’s… It was my very first factory job in the late 80s. I tried so hard to get promoted, but unfortunately I had to move out of Oklahoma City before that happened. And the reason I had to move was all because of Alice. Alice also worked at tallies as my supervisor. She had a fascination with portrait photography and her job. And that’s what attracted me most to her. I asked her out on a date three weeks after I started my job and to my surprise she said yes. I was so excited I can hardly stand it, and I took her to the Yukon Cinema to a movie, and we grabbed dinner before. She was my everything from that day forward. We went fishing, saw some shows at the Oklahoma Opry, and drove down to Hot Springs to visit the our eventual honeymoon town Hot Springs where we stayed in the Majestic. I’ll never forget the taste of Townley‘s milk and I’ll never forget the seven years I spent with Alice. She moved away to Guatemala and the memories were too painful to stay working at Townley‘s. Guy Townley was an amazing person and I’m so glad I got to work alongside him Before this wonderful place closed. Alice, if you’re still out there, I’d love to hear from you! Maybe we could try again?

Has me thinking about our long gone Berg's dairy here in Perry Hall Maryland. Much smaller than Townley's. Thanks for showing us. 👍🤠

This was a very sad but interesting story. I wish the gentleman could've saved as much of the "memorabilia" from the place as he could.
