A seemingly endless tension in the West Philippine Sea has further escalate due to China's aggressive and dangerous maneuvers barring Filipinos passage and fishing activities. Recently China's abuse of power has gained too much discontent to the Filipino masses and even to the global communities. While Philippines tries to avoid unnecessary conflict, China's behavior can hardly be condoned due to their extreme measures and provocative tendencies claiming over areas of interest which are rightfully under Philippines scope of sovereignty. China's scheming tactics and showcase of power show how this giant aim to become the world's greatest bully. Although Philippines tries to pacify their discontent through various means of diplomatic protest, the progress is still lacking because China tends to circumvent and even denies international ruling to satisfy their self-proclaim demands. Although it is necessary to avoid conflict, it is also ideally important that Philippines protects their sovereignty, and even more their national integrity. For hundreds of years ago, brave Filipinos have proven that despite lack of advance weapon system, they are capable of defending their territories. Bolos and machete can hardly be called as weapon nowadays, still these has proven that Filipinos are no pushovers and will never stoop so low as to bend their knees and allow foreign invaders to step over their head. It is of paramount importance that the dignity of a sovereign nation be preserved. For the past decades, China gets used to Philippines yielding against them due to issues of power advantage, perhaps inciting them to be even more aggressive and abusive. They have exploited the generosity of the previous Filipino leaders, being carefree men and lovers of freedom. While it might put on the spot Philippines as a weak nation, their is no viable solution other than to liaise with the friendly neighbouring nation and even the top superpower United States.

We must be praying For our Leaders in the Government, Supreme and lower Courts AND our Armed Forces.
