Liao Junqi, commonly known as “Liao shi-fu”, to his legion of thousands of online fans, is a suitcase repairman based in Shenzhen. Liao regularly livestreams his repair jobs to fans who tune in regularly.
The self-taught repairman says his unusual career has come by because he's acquired his in-depth knowledge about suitcases over years of dedication.

China has a lot of talented citizens. My rucksack was spoilt, zip gone, the sides coming off and a tailor at the five foot way with her sewing machine in China restored it for me and it looked brand new. I am so amazed at their skills. Thanks for covering this story. That guy is doing a great job for the environment. Reused, recycled. Thumbs up.

I didn't know too until I accidentally saw one shop at one of the street in Kuala Lumpur (city; country : Malaysia 🇲🇾) and I was in awe when I saw the shop signboard clearly indicating it's a specialized shop for various luggage repairs years ago! =O
