@@sapphiceevee They most likely completely made that up :') This looks more like a planned demolition, since there's piles of dirt to either side to protect the concrete, ropes around it to mark the demolition site, identical cuts on all supports, nobody close to the crane and someone directly filming it. My source: Looking at the video a few times and seeing if other comments had anything knowledgeable to share. Another source: look at other container crane demolition videos! Looks about the same.

For anyone wondering what's going on in that electrical housing at 2:20, it's likely demineralized water. Water itself isn't conductive, but the minerals in it are, same reason stripes get left when you don't clean a water puddle on a piece of plastic. You can clean electronics by washing them (remove power obvs) with normal water and special soap for electrical components, then rinse it with only water, then with demineralized water. We then use a blower to airdry it, then pop it in a oven/hot room thats 50 degrees Celsius for a couple days and it'll be right as rain! (Note: it's advised to take it apart beforehand and to finish it off with a VACCUUM oven. This will make sure no water is left, as water causes rust, which will also short circuit it)

Re read my comment to understand how that works. Someone without knowledge shouldn't do it. but I'm a trained professional.

@@TheWinjin usually the city keeps the road ice free by sprinkling it with salt. Sometimes when the road freezes over unexpectedly and they haven't salted it yet, this happens. People don't have winter tires, during highschool you learn to bicycle during winter, sometimes breaking a bone or two in the process 😉
