Now, as you have, newer Federal Motor Carriers can continue hauling FX doubles. Keep up the good work girl we're all very proud of you.

I want to say this channel is so spot on. It puts a smile on my face every time I see one. The videos, the music, the scenery and then we see Dakota's sticks and Shelby's smile then hear her laugh. BKM and you are making many of us smile each video. I do not drive trucks or big ones. One of the only channels I watch just because it makes me smile.

Just watched this video, sorry I'm so late, but I wanted to comment on the gender equality thought. I've only been driving for 4 months and I'm an older female, 57 to be exact, and I have had sooo much help out on the road. So many dock guys have been patient and helpful, whether waiting on me to get docked (I'm slow af) or explaining things to me that I didn't understand. Additionally, I've had tons of guys and gals helping me get parked in tight spots at night, give me advice, and one guy even bought me a coffee while giving me tips and tricks to help me get better. I have never had anyone deliberately treat me poorly and I've never felt singled out in any way. I think some people are quicker to help me out either because of my age or gender, but I feel like it's more because they think I will be easier to approach and more receptive to help than some guys might be. Just my thoughts and experiences. Shelby, you are the same age as my youngest daughter and I love your channel and think you are such an inspiration!!!

I appreciate this comment so much! I’m in my early 40’s and seriously debating getting my CdL to get on the road. One of the big things that scares me is being a woman alone, traveling long distances, and being in a heavily male dominated field. Plus my age. Your comment and vids like this really help give me the push I need for a career change. It’s nice to see how many ladies are in this industry and to hear how helpful everyone is. Be safe out there!

Your locations often look beautiful and remote. Speaking from a UK Perspective, I get the impression that you can travel for long distances in North America, particularly in the interior in areas with space populations and human habitation compared to the UK. In contrast in the UK, everything is compact, and much older. This is reflected by our road network, and the age of our settlements, as well as the legal dimensions for the size of vehicles travelling on our roads.

I’ve been to 48 of the states and I’ve flown over two million miles across the country in the last twenty years. But it’s been the long road trips across country that I love remembering. 500 mph is too fast. My back is too bad to drive for a living these days but spending 10 to 12 hours a day driving doesn’t sound bad, especially as a team driver with a good team mate. I’m real glad it works for you guys.

Can you do a video showing how you take care of your body on the road? For example, when its cold and you have to shower, fo you dry your hair in the truck stop? Do you workout? Shelby's comment on automatic transmissions (and manual restrictions)...I went through a CDL class in Austin (Austin Community College). They had two trucks we trained on and both were automatic. I have a manual restriction on my license. While that could definitely be a problem in some fleets, I think most large fleets today are transitioning to automatic transmissions. Would like to get the restriction lifted some day but not worried about it.

I have a couple of suggestions if you do. Iwona Blecharzik. She is a Polish driver who hauls blades, but she has worked in Canada in the oil fields as well. She had a hell of a time getting into the trucking industry because there were few women in the trucking industry over there at that time. Just turn on subtitles and enjoy. Also Wee Yorkshire man trucking. He is an Englishman who moved to the states and is based in Washington but does runs all over the country.
