My first two catches today was the Z-Train and I-Train meet in Salida, CA at the Salida Blvd crossing. The first train was the ILTLC or LB and the second was the ZLCTM hot Z. The ZLCTM crew also forgot to turn off the rear DPU ditchlights. This crossing still remains both WCH Mechanical Bells. The left signal only has back and side lights since the roadway doesn't continue past tye intersection and no crosswalk coming from that side. However it still has brackets for front lights that were left on it since it was installed. This crossing owned by Union Pacific Railroad is an SP early to mid 1990s signal build install with changes to its lights, light heads, gates, and gate lights. Also the relay case control box has Dakota Avenue on it but the roadway is Salida Blvd according to Google Maps and street signs. Dakota Avenue starts to the left of this crossing. This video was much more longer but I edited it because I didn't want it to be an 20 minute video.
The Union Pacific Railroad first intermodal stack train takes the siding track at Covell Calla siding at 12:07pm passing by the Salida Boulevard railroad crossing then stopping in the siding on the UPRR Fresno Sub to wait for the Z-Train to arrive. The second Union Pacific Railroad Intermodal Stack Train passes through the crossing at 12:18pm headed northbound and afterwards the southbound train departs the siding after it passed in Salida, California.
