i enjoy your vids and i like these instructional videos i plan on doing my own eventually, the wrap is sorta pricey for a whole car. so i guess im going to buy it in sections for each panel till i have it all and knock it out in a day.

I also have some rock chips in my hood. When you mentioned that I was excited but I never got to see that finished part or you didnt touch back on that. I feel like its gonna be so noticeable. I think I'm going to hafta spot pint or fill or primer or something.

how do you prevent the bunching or those little fingers you get when you squeegie? my #1 problem yesterday when wrapping my hood, got bunched up on both sies, its a curved hood (aston v8 vantage) not a very big inlay or anything and those little tiny places where film would bunch up against itself in a tiny manner when squeegieing

Is it me.... or does anyone else get nervous when he is working the vinyl with his fingers with the blade in his hand... I have to put the blade down... i would nick the vinyl everytime if I did that..... goes to show the experience he has doing this... He can probably wrap in his sleep.... another great video.

Christian, question, please. When vinyl is being made, there's an intense concern when making new batches of vinyl concerning color pigment. I know that vinyl is PVC based, which is unusual because in the States, PVC was banned for many years. So, let's say that you're doing the hood, then you find out that you just don't have enough to do the door. So, you're waiting for another roll from the manufacturer to deliver. Is it possible that you could give me a rough percentage of the time where you get a new roll, and you hold it up and there's a big enough difference in the colors that you say, " Nope, can't use that roll, it doesn't match close enough ? " The color is actually determined in the compounding process of the chemicals and color pigment. Or, is it very rare that happens at all ? Thanks. My best, Scott
