Alain Delon cannot be compared to anyone, he is as rare as the sun in the sky. He is a sun-man. No one has been able to overcome his charisma. He will go down in history in the memories of millions as a giver of beauty, an admirer of women, a contempt of the aristocracy and a very good friend - all his wives have remained friends of Delon until their deaths. Delon has given his world something priceless, therefore he deserves a memorial more than any politician. Delon's favorite Bonaparte is a pitiful figure who led millions of French to death, while Delon has given vitality to millions. I read the comments under the videos and I have a sublime feeling - that a man like Alain Delon lives in the world. His soul looks up from his good eyes. I love that he was a strict father. I like he was able to remain a humanist in the harsh world. I like that he didn't accept a number of roles because there were a lot of lies in those movies. In the example in one of the American films he refused to play and did the right thing, because this whole film was fake brainwashing. ("Lawrence of Arabia")

I first became aware of him when I stumbled across a foreign movie cable channel which was showing Purple Noon- English subtitles. I was blown away. This movie was the first version of Patricia Highsmith's book- The Talented Mr Ripley. It's better than the Matt Damon- Jude Law version. I think it can be rented on Prime. 🇺🇸

"Purple Moon" is such a great movie! I would also recommend comparing Jacques Deray's "La Piscine" with the newer version by Luca Guadagnino "A Bigger Splash" with Ralph Fiennes.

@@FrenchConversationGroup I was unable to find La Piscine ". I've seen clips- as handsome as he was - you began to see him aging in this movie. He was still young - 35- but one can see the decline begin. In Hollywood, he would have had a nose job and his teeth fixed - but France didn't care ...

Osobiście znam przynajmniej dwie osoby które dorównują urodą Delonowi albo go przewyższają, tylko są to osoby niepubliczne i są to Polacy. Osobiście uważam że też mógłbym z Delonem konkurować. Polak
