Love this idea. I dont know why I didnt think of it until a few days ago but redid a rectangle tissue box and turned it into a file holder for unfinished tags to stand in so i can just look at the tab and grab the ones I need to finish for the project I am doing but didnt think about using the actual box for tags so thank you so much for this video because we go through a lot of tissues so wont be sending the boxes to the dump pile now. I love recycling.

@@journalingplanet The boxes I really like are the ones with the lovely mottled brown design inside, strong, not too thick, and no need to put a backing on them. Our Nescafe coffee satchels come in them.

Lovely as usual! I am really interested in a tutorial on how to make your own paper as well as ways to use the partial coffee dyed papers that did not come out perfectly. You could use old coffee (it doesn't matter if it is old as long as it isn't growing something in it). If you used old coffee wouldn't that count as a way to recycle it?
@journalingplanet
@journalingplanet Жыл бұрын
Hi Catherine, you just reminded me that Treasure Books has a fab tutorial on how to make your own faux handmade paper. I think she uses coffee grounds - or tea grounds but either would work - alongside some other stuff that people would usually discard. Her process is soooo much easier than making your own paper which requires days of straining pulp etc. Definitely worth checking out.

I saw Pam at the paper outpost gently sand a stamp that wasn't working once and after that the print was always crisp. Maybe worth a try if more ink doesn't work?

You have a "Yank" here who'd like to know what a tuck is. 🤔
@journalingplanet
@journalingplanet 5 ай бұрын
🤣 I love the way you phrased this question. It's just a piece of cardboard or paper that you glue down on two sides so you can tuck other things behind. It's not quite a pocket as those are usually glued down on three sides. 🙂
