A new Soviet tank branch has appeared with Update 1.7.1 for World of Tanks. There are three double-barreled tanks: the IS-2-II, IS-3-II, and ST-II. So how do tanks with two guns work? Reminds me of the March of War Conqueror Tank, an absolute menace to both infantry and heavier battle tank because of its 2 split incendiary shot and high anti tank damage.... ahh the good ol days.... the nostalgia got me re downloading the world of tanks now.

Hope to see the double barreled TD of Germany the VT-1 and VT-2 in the future. I also wanna ask if are there any plans for the multi-turreted tanks in game to have fully operational turrets or hull mounted guns like the M3 Lee, Char B1, O-I and etc..?

People forget that *in real life* the two barrels were made to compensate long reloading time, not as a double barrel shot. They were not designed to fire both barrels at the same time as it would go against the mechanics of a turret.

I'd say that you can't. According to this video, every shell is independent when it comes to calculating damage and penetration, so I assume that the requirements for the award are also checked independently for each shot. It would be really cool if you could get it this way, though.

someone already did this on the Test server, you cant get a bombardier award with a double shot unless 1 of the 2 shells kills both tanks.

So the P 1000 will be coming as the first tier XI tank? But i don't know if i should wait to grind the ST II until the whole newbalancing is done. Would be really nice if the german tanks could stay toe to toe with the Autoloaders, Magazinjunkies, Stalinium-mountains, damage dealing EBR and so on.

When you shoot a dubble shot into a house that you can destroy. Will 1 shot destroy the house and 1 shot the enemy? Or do both of the shots go into the building?

To be honest, the tier 8 feels more fun than the tier 10. Tier 10 needs to be more competitive to be viable.

And that's weird? Of course the one you pay money for is going to be better than the one everyone can grind for free. It's called making money. Don't get me wrong, I'm sick and tired of the T8 premiums but people not understanding a basic marketing strat is just stupid as well. What would be the point of making the paid tank worse than the free tank?

It's not worse..... You can't even compare them. One has Armor and big guns ans the other has less armor and smaller guns.... Hmmmmm seems like a medium tank description.. Both Tier 8s have different playstyles

@@lennart7154I'm guessing you are new to WoT, by WG standards they always said that premiums were slightly worse than their tier counterparts, as they should be, since their main advantage is crew training and extra credit profit. Nowadays they are just way better, so makes no sense to play the "normal" tanks. I dont mind if they were the same or slightly better in some things and worse I others, but in this specific case it's just way better. They are responsible to make their game unbalanced, hard for new players, hard for those that can't afford a premium tank, worse since in this case the tank is only available in loot boxes.
