Hello I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Canada. I have been working as a Registered Nurse for the past 16 years. I have been working as a Travel Nurse in the USA since July 2020 using a TN VISA. I have passed the USA based NCLEX exam in 2020 and I am currently licensed in the state of New York, California and Florida. I have a CGFNS VisaScreen certificate valid until 2025. I am currently employed on a part-time basis in the Clearwater, Florida area. How do I proceed in getting a greencard, how long will it take, to I have to get my employer to sponsor me (I would prefer not to be bound to one employer) and, of course, the cost in getting this done. this video was so helpful, I'm currently 16 looking to get into nursing and hopefully be fully qualified registered nurse by around age 23 or 2026 and I'm guessing with the continuation of rising nursing shortages there should still be green cards for nursing but I'm not 100% sure, I'm from the UK so the waiting line isn't too long but I really wan't to work/live in america. What I'm asking is do you think there will still be working shortages for nursing and green-cards for it in 8-10 years time, I know its impossible to predict but some sort estimate or information would be much appreciated thanks!
