Turns out that Momentum Skitter was the perfect name. You see, the moment your launch hand passes your other hand, you begin to lose vertical speed. To avoid this, you place your hand early BUT WITHOUT having your arm slow your character down. You then pull on the slippery surface with that arm, and it results in conserving the initial speed for longer. You then chain this with a second grab and finally a third which returns to the original hand you launched with.
