Something not right with the big blue box, I use the blue box gtil 2000 also, but for my grid tie setup with solar panels, my i2000 is direct connected to a 150amp 3 phase rectifier and then 28 volt lithium battery bank, no breaks at all, excess power gets diverted into a dumpload.

I found with mine the Short Circuit and Dump load controls in the settings menu are actually the wrong way around . You need to set the short circuit to be about 10v higher than the dump load - mine are set to 47 and 56v . Works fine now .

The mentioned product was once obtained but it has not been able to work, the input DC indicators are correct, the output AC output showed a little at first, but at the moment the reading is practically zero?

How about if you ran the AC input through 3 step down transformers, so that the voltage will be accepted by the device? Will that let your turbine spool up?

100%sure there isnt a dip switch inside to set it to 48v or something?

finally got my i700 up, I have a similar inverter without the wind part of

Seems as for that controller you need a 12v generator. That continous braking is to slow the turbine so it all doesn't burn up. Does it make sense?

I have one of these I can't get it to show any Watts can you show a screen shot of your settings

Finally got the Tesup AtlasX up and running ~! Fixed the short in the wind controller..made by a 6 year old. Now the GroWatt 2000 inverter gives me a Code

Isn't that big GTI pretty much like a solar unit, but maybe has (should) more advanced circuitry to deal with the crazy changes in power from a turbine vs solar panels? It has to be able to "track" the turbine output faster than a solar unit I'd think. I know you've been playing with standard GTI's with your turbines, but some have blown up due to exceeding the upper voltage limits of inverters? I think the big blue one needs some tweaking in the software maybe. It's gotta learn how to keep the turbine in it's power curve and know when to "unload" it before it stalls due to low wind speed. On the other hand, if the turbine is going crazy and approaches the upper limits of the inverter output power, it needs to engage the dump load properly. Maybe even have progressive loads, where it monitors the excess power and adds more dump loads if needed to keep turbine and inverter in a safe range? I like the water heater element setup! I just got a dual element and playing with it now. I wired it so both winding phases are evenly loaded. Seems to work so far. Hey, is that a Standard Apricot Poodle? Sure looks like it! LOL.

Still work this wind inverter ?

Maybe best to buy a midnite solar 150 or 200
