Firstly, I wanted to thank everyone for the kind comments in the previous video. I thought I should keep you all in the loop with regards to the dizziness situation. It's been a busy week.
Hope you are all feeling well and less dizzy too.

It’s PPPD! It comes after a panic attack. PPPD is a sudden change in the brain’s ability to interpret space/motion. Following an alarming event, the fight or flight system is activated, changing how space/motion is perceived. Once the alarming event stops, instead of resetting, the brain maintains that abnormal perception, causing constant rocking sensation for at least three months. People with migraine or anxiety/depression are at higher risk for developing PPPD, but it can occur in anyone.

All of this sounds like me. I’m better now but from like 2001 to 2006 I hardly left the house and I was always monitoring my health etc. Now I’m a lot better but I has heart “issues” the last few months and it was all anxiety. I also get random dizzy spells or just off balance. My husband is the best. I also got blood tests recently and everything is fine. I know you’re going to be okay and I’m proud of you. ❤️ I do keep a health journal.

It’s gotta be the anxiety…I get the head sensations too and they SUCK!!!!! It’s just saying “remember me” then it will cause you to think about it and constantly worry. Don’t let it run wild Billy. You know how to overcome it! Keep moving forward! Complete recovery is within reach now!! Pretty soon it will just be a faint memory… I’m keeping my faith to full recovery!

I’m the same, a spell of vertigo nearly 3 years ago triggered all my anxiety/agoraphobia. It’s learning to just get on with life best as we can and ignore it all as much as possible. Glad you’re all good otherwise Billy x

I got an anxiety attack out of nowhere today. I had been doing so well for a few weeks then I got a sort of fearful panic out of nowhere and I have been feeling awful all day. Which I know will continue tomorrow for sure

I was told for years it was just anxiety, and I kept saying something is physically not right, and it turns out I actually had POTS so I do think it's also important to rule out anything physical. I think often drs are very quick to jump to anxiety when they haven't ruled out physical reasons. In my case, I will say my anxiety massively reduced when I knew what was causing my physical sensations

Everything you talked about is EXACTLY how I’ve been feeling for over a decade as well! I go to doctors only for this issue as well! I really feel like your twin! Sinuses, ETD, vision floaters, neck or jaw issues? which is it! My dizziness all started when I felt dizzy and nearly fainted in the bathroom, with no one at home, but I managed to call the ambulance before I blacked out and went to hospital. Diagnosis was anxiety. I’ve noticed ever since then I’ve been afraid and anxious when I feel a bit woozy and then for the next few days just keep worrying about getting more dizzy. When I have a good run then all is good but not 100% normal but like you said I guess we have learned to accept the dizziness and it’s our kind of normal. I’ve learnt to not ask what is it so often and just try to let it go by. I’m seeing another ENT in March because I have a constantly blocked right ear which feels like there’s fluid stuck which cannot be released and chronic blocked sinuses. I feel much better when I make myself sneeze so could also be a vestibular ear issue adding to the dizziness which adds to the anxiety. I’m guessing one main contributor to my dizziness is the fear of being dizzy. The feeling of a fear of anything is no fun. Well I hope you keep getting better and have more good days from now on and thank you for sharing your journey.

I had the same experience a few months (about 7-9 months ago?) ago after a shower I passed out and I’ve never been the same, my dizziness got 10x worse and I stopped leaving my house etc because of it because it got worse

Can relate to all of this. It’s the norm for me. Blood tests will put your mind at rest, I assure you that you are fine. I have short tubes in my ears and they get clogged easy with allergies or a cold. Then I get vertigo because of it. Then I think here we go again it’s my heart or my brain😔. Ruined days…..over and over. I’m 41 and it started when 25. It’s just my anxiety the trickster

That's because you're not ill, physically or mentally. We have disordered fear which causes systemic physiological disruption. It is not a mental illness - it is a result of the creative mind interacting with the brain's fear response. No doctor ever tells you this, because they don't know what anxiety truly is.

BILLY! I swear you are telling my exact story!! We are so alike when it comes to our anxiety journeys. Hang in there, it will always be ok and honestly if it isn’t and something comes up we can most def handle it. Made it this far right? Take care

Also it’s better to get a clean slate so to speak when it comes to your health so you can truly rule out anything that could be wrong.

In your last video you made a comment about being on the computer a lot. My dizziness started exactly hoe you described your last episode. I just woke up and the room started to spin. It lasted the whole day but got better by the end of the day. I still feel off balance though. I also have an anxiety condition and have had it off and on for many years. I am also very sensitive to light and my neck bothers me (I'm 70) if I stay on the computer too long. I was wondering if you ever looked at the symptoms of occipital neuralgia and something called forward head posture. I am going to post a link to a video I found was very informative. Do you have gastrointestinal problems as well.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oLSAgbSJzqfIfnk.html

I've been struggling with panic and agoraphobia for the last 2 years. Have your meds helped with being able to get out? I've been stuck at home and I'm going crazy. I've got to do something different. I'm happy to hear you're feeling so well, gives someone like me a little glimmer of hope in all this darkness.
