We can update the SharePoint Document Library or Site Page Permission using Rest API - UpdateDocumentSharingInfo. We will use the Rest API (UpdateDocumentSharingInfo) in Power Automate to update the specific Group’s permission using Microsoft flow or Power Automate.
During this video, we will cover one real-life scenario, where we create one site page for news. When the category is IT, we need to remove the Visitor group’s permission for that specific site page. We can perform this action using Power Automate or Microsoft Flow. So, now let’s get started!

Is there anyway we can grant to only owner and changing members to visitors, that means, who ever upload the document should have full control and others in members group should change from edit to visitors. Is this possible?

Do you have any guidance on the change that would need made here if I want to give edit permissions to the "Created by" person and those people listed in a "people column" for that document? Thanks!

You need to collect necessary parameters we need to pass in trigger and collect that for created by user!!

Can the same can be used on SharePoint list to change the permissions for every item for only one group?

Hello, i've just watched your video and i have 2 questions: 1) Is there any possiblity to change permissions for two or more groups using one step called Http request ? or we need to use 2 seperate Http requests (each group for one http request)? 2) Can you attach here all lines you used for Http request in Body ? :) Best Regards !
