Жыл бұрынHello...Firstly please accept my apology for being absent from KZfaq for the last few months. This video has been created to inform you of the reasons why I have been unable to upload any content to this channel. It is a small window into my life over the last twelve plus months and shows some of my projects and achievements which have taken up most of my time since moving from Melbourne into the 'bush'.
Most of my major tasks have now been completed and I shall now hopefully have more time to pursue my hobby of Matchbox car restoration and resume uploading regular makeover videos.
Thanks to all of you that have waited patiently for my return to the small screen!

Came here to say basically the same thing. "Hey, sorry I've been gone a few months, been busy, updated a bunch of buildings, got covid, had a heart attack, and 'these peas are going crazy'". Does the phrase "burying the lede" mean anything to you? Glad you're doing better Marty, but come on man! We all care about you :)

Marty, you have nothing to apologize for, the world has been crazy and we have all had many things in our lives that have taken priority over hobbies. I'm glad to know you are better and you and your wife have a wonderful homestead. I look forward to your next video, hopefully Kevin has learned a few manners over this last year! I am not so sure about that! He may be cute, but he’s also an evil saboteur. I wouldn’t be surprised if Marty has left him behind in Melbourne. But I really hope to see that devil in the upcoming video.

Marty, you don't owe anybody anything. You have provided many, many hours of entertainment, instruction on modeling, and interesting information on the models you so lovingly restore. I think all of us, that have watched your videos are very happy to see that you are alive and well. Enjoy your life and if you have time to make more videos that would be great, if not, don't give it another thought.

The most important thing is that you have recovered from those, very serious, medical conditions. It’s unbelievable that you all have managed to go through such a massive property makeover on top of that. Good morning, Marty! Thank you so much for the video update. I'm sorry you had to go through covid and the heart attack, but I am happy you came through it all. The work you, Julie and your son have done in such a short amount of time is a monumental undertaking not lost on this subscriber. What you have done in a year, my wife and I have been doing for over 20. You have really created a little slice of Heaven here on earth. It’s your eye for detail and work quality combined with your positive outlook that draw me to your videos. I can’t imagine watching a video on you guys putting up a fence would be any different.

Sir. I've moved 5 times in my life and each time it's take a few years to really make each house a home. I appreciate your willingness to share you life with us. You're love of Matchboxes (and skills) bring back great memories of my childhood in the 1960s. It's also an aspiration for me to go back through my boyhood matchboxes and see if I can restore them. I've retired last year and been working around the house and hope to begin in 2023 with my first restoration attempt. God Bless Sir and Missus
