Love this setup, can't wait to have something like this myself! Personally to fix the countertop size issue, I'd buy a butcher block workbench top from Home Depot (like $150 for an 8ft solid birch top) and either stain it or leave it natural, cut off the piece you need for that counter, and use the other piece for a desk or shipping station or something lol

I absolutely love everything! Right now I have candle “stuff” from my kitchen table & bakers rack , a 2 spare bedrooms and a small shelf In the hallway that leads to my bedroom 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ I have a decent size apartment (except the kitchen) slowly trying to get organized, I might also add my hubby is an ebay seller as well as doing his full time , so my apartment looks like a tornado blew through 80% of the time😂 , but honestly everything looks beautiful ❣️ I am so happy for you !!!

Oh my gosh its just like a little walk in store! Looks incredible. I cannot tell you how much of GOD SEND you have been for my little shop. I open shop September 1st. Obviously we dont know each other, but you and I are similar humans on 'similar' life paths. Candle shop owners, cali resident, empaths, blonde (lol), anyway, my point is that Im so thankful I found your youtube channel. Hey Erica, All the goodies but No Wax... 😊😁😂!!! You did a great job not only organizing but its well thought out. Is that in your living room?? I'm in the "new set up" process now... Ordering tables & shelving and you're so right, lots of measuring. I couldn't decide if I wanted to keep it out in my Kitchen/Liv room area or using my spare bedroom. Ughhh... taping diff ways on the floor so it'll flow as smoothly as possible is a pain. Can't wait to see a video on your new melting pots. I haven't seen the first 1 but I've been thinking about getting a digi boil. I'm a little concerned about that nut/spout problem. Just a little fyi, make SURE yours is tightened b4 adding your wax for the first time. As Always... TFS!!! 😊

I love watching your videos! I follow you and another lady candlemaker and I've learned so much from y'all! The way you explain things just clicks for me and I can understand it! Thank you so much for the teaching you share with us! Do you have any safety tips from your experience as a candle maker? I've seen you highly recommend wearing respirator, and even though I'd never thought of that beforehand I'm on board with that. However, my children and I are basically in an open-plan space and I don't want to expose them to the same things I need to be wearing the respirator for. This may sound like a silly question, but I'm completely unfamiliar with what being around candle-making is like. I can put up a blanket between their space and my work area. Will that be sufficient to protect them? Any other precautions you could suggest for this or for general candle making safety would be absolutely appreciated!

Hey Erica it looks great! 👍🍻💜 One small piece of advice I would give is to put your camera lenses in a plastic tote with a lid on top. No matter how clean your house is, there will still be dust as well as dander from the dog. Camera lenses are very expensive (as you know) and you don’t want dust to get inside of them. Even if you keep them in the protective velvet bag, they should still be inside plastic totes with lids to keep the dust out. 😊

To be honest I’ve never tried printing on clear labels before but I’m sure it prints out just fine! I’ve printed on white gloss, weatherproof and matte and they all have come out really well! ❤️

Hey Erica! I’m currently candle testing and have been for 3 months now and I was just wondering if during your candle testing process were there any issues you had to ‘embrace.’ By that I mean like-let’s say you found the best performing wick out of all you’ve tested, but the only problem is that this wick mushrooms A LOT 😂 and makes your jar super hot. Do you continue to try to find the ‘perfect’ match or do you embrace that and encourage your customers to trim their wicks. Did you prioritize the candle pros over the cons? This is my number one issues right and you’re a life saver cause hearing your struggles makes me feel so much better! 💖

Yes you totally have to “settle” on certain things, because it’s never going to be perfect. But as long as it’s still a Safe candle and follows the safety guidelines that’s all you can ask for ❤️

Hello Darla. You should try going down a size in the wick. If after this the issue continues, try to use less fragrance or double wick the candle using a smaller wick. This will also help.
