running the same build just with Decrepify instead of Bone Prison. Its a lot of fun, but in group it sucks. Cause it needs setup and your way faster mates will screw that all up for you. You dont get fortification then and also Essence runs out if you just kill stragglers with zero setup :/ also pushing NM tiers 70+ you basically get oneshot by normal white mobs. Its soo squishy, especially since Fortify just sucks. You have a little damage reduction until you get hit and then the fortify is entirely useless. They need to rework it fast. I played a long time thinking that its an extra health pool, not aware it is just buildup for the effect once you reach the max and once you lose it any "almost full" fortify is entirely worthless. It sucks so bad

This has been THE staple build since day one. Other builds exist but cant touch this. Hopefully they drop the patch soon i want to play with minions effectively

Dude are you kidding 😂😂 Weeks into season 0, people are barely lvl 100. Give it a month or 2 at endgame. The game is at its core simple, there is no denying that, just because he is changing a few bits of gear does not make it anymore complex lol

buld just from d4builds 1 or 2 thin diferent but still same , actually its not gonna work in nightmare 70+

@@shishigami4510 Depending how they balance them, Necro might actually have more than 4 builds that can dominate nightmare 70+. Shadowmist and Bonespear are the only ones I know at the moment but if they buff minions and blood... who knows.

I have a bone spirit, bone spear build that runs 40nm in 3min or less. Funnest build I played so far.

​​@Ajme-kb4osj ust hang on til 50. You'll get a power spike. Once you can get to world tier 3 the gear is way better.

You can use the aspect for lucky hit on vulnerable bone skills, easy way to get a lot of essence using bone spears

Until I found a higher roll of umbra (it's a dungeon codex so you can go get the 1/4 essence version) I was using the aspect that gives mana back when you heal, and running 2h scythe. As a plus with temerity unique pants, the overheal shield counts as well and gives essence back even if you're full health. Fun little combo with the scythe heal on kill I liked running

I can’t find a good umbral aspect. So I have to rely on bone prison. I do have the aspect that gives essence on lucky hit.

I am level 75 necro. Stgruggled with Essense before as well... But now I have ZERO essense generation through skills (no basic, no corpse explosion or corpse consumption) - nothing. The ways I regen essense are: 1) Paragon points (essense on kill). 2) Aspect [1-4] Essense per CC with Tendrils and Bone Prison and slow from Decrep and Chill from boot (my roll is 1 only and it is enough). 3) Lucky hit generates [30-50] Essense (mine is only 30, but it is enough). ^ those 3 are more than enough for PvM and PvP.

I totally agree with you. That is a real problem in this game. Most of These builds really don’t start to come together until you are at least level 70. The only class in this game that feels good to play early on is rogue.

I can't imagine playing necro not hybrid tbh even in softcore those minions are crucial to survive

@@davidmaltais2912Hybrid will get you far. However I strictly play hardcore and instead of going for straight damage, I use one sword and shield for block chance. Run protector, disobedience proc it with blight corpse explosion for crazy resistance and bone storm barrier. Both barriers together can easily get you through solo play. Want to try out the blood lance build thats breaking the game tho 🤣

@@davidmaltais2912 yeah. You essentially use hemmorage to build up fortify. Stat into health because of overpower, get attack speed on everything you can. Tendril of course and just blood lance the shit out of them as fast as you can. In high tier nightmares. Its been putting up such high numbers and so fast that it can lag out everyone thats doing the same dungeon as you and in the same region.

@@davidmaltais2912 Also even tho it sounds like I was disagreeing with you. In hardcore, playing with minions is more safe when you’re leveling to cap because most of the bone spear build is heavily reliant on uniques before you can go full solo.

You seem knowledgeable. Do two handed swords just roll lower damage compared to two handed scythe or am I just that unlucky?

dont use a one hand. The stats suck, use a two handed because it 2x the stats

@@JourneysORSR That may depend on whether the build needs one more aspect to work properly.

If you're going to use a one handed weapon in this case, make sure to use a shield alongside it instead of a focus. The shield will give an extra 80% main hand weapon damage which can supplement damage. My first thoughts for aspects on a shield would be shared misery, because that extra crowd control is extra essence.

Always use bone splinters. Having a bone spear build is op af.

Nah, corpse explosion is what gives you a ton of extra damage (40%+) which helps take out tanky elites and bosses quickly.

Its what most people do on 70/80+ plus NM runs. Pretty much anything after that tier will obliterate you if you don't have absurd defenses and survivability.

I agree. I don't play corpse explosions at all, and I run 50-60 teir atm. Always staying at range and kitting. Can't afford to get touched at the higher dungeons, also tendrils is such a short cd just use that with umbrul for essence regen.

@@BigSalv Corpse explosion can actually really good. It was the primary damage source for the first non exploit tier 100 run for necro. The build is called the Infnimist and stack shadow damage like crazy allowing you to hit nearly 1mil tics on a single corpse explosion. UT just takes a good bit of setup/investment and is rather slow.

It was never 1mil ticks from corpse explosion though, but shadowblight. Corpse explosion on bone spear is a bait, it's always better to throw a spear than to waste 5 casts on CE to get flesh eater buff. All its good for is thumbnail creation.

I’m not sure why the basic slot would be tied to your interact binding only. Like you said, you can separate them out, but when you go further into the bindings, it should give you an option to set the binding for move, interact, and basic skill separately. It also gives you the option to bind move and interact together while keeping the basic skill separate.

im also 55 necro with minions... blight build. And im doing pretty fine, at least i think so, since im also new to diablo

Its doable for sure but its just(CURRENTLY) vastly inferior to most other builds for Necro right now. Takes a good bit of investing to do any NM runs that are 10+ your level.

the only problem I see right now is that on high tier NM levels you're not always going to one shot the low level guys to start with bone spear. so you won't have that corpse on the ground to tendril. a guaranteed body on the ground is a must for pushing higher level NM dungeons. thoughts? What's the highest NM you're able to clear with this build?

I've done tierl 60 successfully so far, no problem. This is where hewed flesh comes into play, helps generate corpses on enemies hit. Throwing a bone spear into crowded enemies nearly always kills at least one enemy or generates every corpses.

Which is good considering the max is 40% for that item lvl
