We added bracing to the top of our Wicked 72" Brush Cutter's stump jumper to address cut quality issues that some customers were experiencing. See Ted try it out in our latest video.

Ted is such a tease. Told us about a disaster but didn't show the video. We are adults and can handle the excitement of what happened. WISHING you the speediest recovery and may God bless you and yours!

Ted, You have to show your incident and how you got injured and damaged the tractor

Ted , The quality of the cut is one thing that I consider when purchasing cutters. But that said I feel like if you add a flexible back bone into the cutter it would help with staying in contact with the ground and not bouncing up and down leaving the stragglers sticking up. Just my opinion would love to try one out in our work environment.

I have your 4’ rotary cutter I pull with my JD 1025R. It is a delight. I downsized from a Ford 640 and a 5’ County Line. World of difference in build quality of the attachment. And the EA is much quieter. Maybe because the shorter blade tips aren’t moving as fast(?). I highly recommend the safety chains.

You could use a higher lift blade or run 4 blades on tbe stump jumper. Two high lift blades amd two lower lift.

I'm planning on doing the same thing this afternoon. My cutter doesn't seem to cut as clean as your mower. I believe my cutter is a john deere product. I was cutting using a 1950s Rotocycle which did a great job on stalks.

How about using some of that steel to make my grapple, I have been waiting on for 16 weeks. Thanks for the reply, I know your equipment is superior to others and definitely worth the wait, the guys who I have dealt with are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks again.

Unfortunately, we have had issues with various material sourcing, but parts are cut, and a Wicked 55 batch is rolling through our factory now. We do not enjoy the delay at all, either, but yours should be rolling out very soon! Sorry for the delay.

I'd like to see a more heavy hardox steel all around the cutter sides . Then I'll consider purchasing . Otherwise great work on all your attachments .

Sorry, I am not seeing any difference between the cut grass and the uncut grass. Sorry, just my impression.

I'm glad it wasn't just me seeing that.

I've been putting mine through the paces since i got it. Slightly bent the tail wheel with in first 2 hours backing onto a hidden ditch., I'm not impressed with the cut quality vs my BH316. But I do love the lighter weight on the hills. Maybe its the hardox blades that don't cut well for whatever reason...

If it is a Wicked 72 cutter you have, we are offering a kit to upgrade the blade pan, which will limit the flex and allow the blades to cut at a better angle. You're welcome to call our sales staff at 828-464-1200 for more info and/or to order.

The one thing I noticed is I thought the rotary cutter had a mechanism that kept the cutter flat while the tractor goes through little dips. Several times, saw the nose of the tractor go down which raised the rear of the cutter. I did not see that mechanism on the top link articulating. But maybe it was and I couldn't see it. Just might check to make sure it isn't on a bind after the incident.

Same, the deck isn't floating like it should.

Having the FEL on also lifts the cutter more on the bumps.

I have an old MF150 with 45 hp, 40 at the PTO. Do you think my machine could handle a 6 foot wide cutter? I will be driving over privet and small silk trees, poke weed, pine saplings, tall weeds. I will have to go around anything larger than how much a trunk diameter?
@EverythingAttachments11 ай бұрын
Yes, 40PTO HP is adequate. Even though our cutter is very strong, being tested on our M6-141, the weight is not crazy, due to the Hardox 450 steel being used in all the right places! Check out the cutter page and current sale prices here www.everythingattachments.com/Tractor-Rotary-Brush-Cutters-s/10573.htm

@@EverythingAttachments As a retired guy with limited income, perhaps I could justify purchasing this bush hog by doing some side work down the road from us. I wouldn't even have a trailer to go far, but I wonder if I could pay for this in a year or so doing that? I will ask around our neighbors to see if there is enough interest. I feel I can trust you guys as I was a journeyman manual machinist, and I can appreciate robust and continuing design and improvements.

What did ya'll do to the stump jumper/blade mount to correct the torque bending? What can existing Wicked cutter owners do?
@earlyriser899811 ай бұрын
I agree...that was my immediate question...what was the fix?

If 60hp tractor cant cut that, its not the tractor, its definitely the operator.
