I helped Casey Putsch unload and move the Lykan Hypersport that the Genius Garage students had built when it came back from a $40k paint job, and we treated that thing like it was a polished egg shell. I've always been a car guy since my Dad gave me my first Hot Wheels car in 1968, so I've always respected the work that goes into a nice ride and it never ceases to amaze me that someone could be so careless. Of course it wasn't intentional and I'm sure whomever is responsible feels terrible and has learned a valuable, and costly, lesson.

We would love for the transporter to have learned a lesson so future clients do not have to deal with the heartache and the headaches. We will repair the Supra in-house so we know it's done right.

Those 2 cars are really awsome the way they were recreated you guys need to recreate that scene where they race the train cant wait to see the other cars done to the level that these are done hopefully now you guys are in the new shop we'll get some more frequent vides keep up the work 👍👍🇭🇲

Ngl this white supra fits the vibes of what the supra was in the movie a naturally aspirated sport coupe (targa top) building this would be more entertaining then a turbo supra and it would cost less then half the price to get two 😮‍💨 .also something that i don’t understand is if the seats in the car are custom racing seats or modified factory seats 🤷🏽‍♂️👆🏽

The movie car seats were reupholstered stock seats done from the same company we used for this build. Not our favorite but in the spirit of keeping it screen accurate...

Guys I am amazed what you did with these iconic cars! Please don't sell it repair it, and keep it!!! I would even donate to you if needed! Just tell us! Love what you guys do! I would love to see an original build, a period correct early 2000's tuner build - maybe with a Cavalier or a Dodge Neon, something funny like that. Also whats that Trans Am doing in the back there...👀

We would likely build a period correct Honda or Toyota. Although a Neon would be pretty fun! And the Trans Am is a future project, we are just waiting on more of the KITT to arrive before we get started.

At 3:00 they mentioned that there are a few Mk4 Supras they are going to use but are not going into much detail on what specific reasons. This makes begin to believe a theory that they might use those cars on the next f&f movie and I’m all for it!!!

It was not only over the tire it was on the back of the transport. So the bounciest part of the trailer with a strap right against the body work.

Skip to scene/clip (17:20 ) where Paul Walker gets into the Skyline GTR. You can observe where his left leg must have hit the outer side skirt, just behind the front wheel, and it bowed-out for just a second. The side skirt, most likely, was warped or not fastened all the way to the movie car.

So sorry to hear the supra got damaged. That car may require you to send a do and don't pamphlet for the transport company. I also find it very funny the car hobby has gotten so spoiled 900 horsepower is not enough lol! It was also very nice of the guy to give you pointers for the backfire plate for the blower. That's what it's all about car people enjoying cars and helping each other out. Would love to see the race from fast 1 recreated. Also maybe down the road after the cars have made the rounds maybe some quarter mile times/ track videos? The movie vs real life would be kinda fun to find out.

Yah, we are in contact with the company on working on the estimate of damages. You are very right about 900 HP not being enough for some people. Most of those people likely haven't driven 500 HP. If they had they'd know it's not so easy to control on the street. Especially with the transmission in that Toretto Charger. We are always open to listening to others and learning from our mistakes and sharing our knowledge with others. That's how we all learn and grow. We have plans with these cars. The tracks, quarter miles, and cinematic videos are all part of our plans.

Nah, we don't think either are cursed. If anything the Charger is blessed because we caught a small issue that could have destroyed the engine. That still blows our minds.

I mean since the decal is already off, have them adjust it just a bit, to be more accurate to the movie 🤷🏻‍♂️ the green maybe needs to be printed a tad bit larger or adjusted so that one of the parts reaches and kinda wrap on the tail lights. Oh and is missing one more piece that comes of on of the two last pieces towards the end, so it is 3 instead of 2. I pay too much attention to details like you guys have for this build 😅 jk probably too extra

Im assuming that part of the vinyl is randomized 🤷🏻‍♂️ but the video where they were placing the vinyl on the car they had a bunch of images you guys provided them with, and they did side by side, don’t know how they missed those details or maybe it wasn’t important enough to them .

Hmmmmm... I wonder... Maybe, possibly.... Universal came to you guys to bring back the original Supra for their final FnF movie? It'd make sense. You need one hero car where everything is 1:1 correct, a stunt car or 2 where "the engine bay won't need to be identical" interior too, and a few other mk. 4's for things like micrigs, etc. Never know! 🤫

Some people just don't understand the value of things. A cars a car? The same reason you'll see some cars on the road hanging on by a thread with all kinds of trash and French fries hardened under the seats. We don't have any plans to sell these cars at this time.

With all the horror stories out there, it has to be a miserable experience to turn over your priceless build to a car hauler. The numbers of people who have flocked to join that industry, seem to be nearly unregulated and with few standards of training. I'm sure the top companies are the exception, but you most certainly need to do your own background checks.
