2 жыл бұрынHello IT Pros, this is Alvendril! In this Video, "Upgrade Bios Version | HP ProDesk 600 G4", I show step by step how to Upgrade the BIOS version on this HP desktop computer. The process is similar on other models. For this video I don't use a USB, I run the Upgrade from Windows 11.

hi thanks for the video tutorial, i have a problem on my pc that i bought in amazon, its a g4 705 elitedesk, the problem is after we installed windows and updated it, the previous company owner freeze the device, there is a warning that the unit is property of their company and froze it. will the bios update remove that problem? thanks in advance, i cant refund or return anymore my unit :(

Hello, Never heard that before... If you installed windows after you got the device there should not be any problem as the OS is new. Yes, there is software you can install on windows and if that device is lost you can lock it remotely. Jus to be sure, in the bios reset it to factory setting and see how it goes. Hope it helps! @@27elrich Hey, I checked the pic. The software is installed on the hard drive. Have you reinstalled windows on it? If so, I'd suggest getting a new HDD/SSD and install a fresh copy of windows on it.

@@MyITWorkshop i did replace hdd , but same issue, i think its in the serial of the unit, maybe changing the serial solve the problem? but idk how to activate the manufacture programing mode of hp, i saw they can modified the serial.. thanks again for the reply

Hi, thanks for the video showing how to upgrade the BIOS. I have the HP ProDesk 600 G4 DM, where the BIOS has error when boot up by showing the messages; 1) Your system is not fully configured. Please contact HP customer support and 2) This BIOS is Not for Production Use... I can't do any update on the BIOS where it will encountered error during the update. There are two error messages; 1) BIOS signature verification failed, Please download the file again to update system BIOS; 2) Intel Management Engine Firmware Update failed: Error 1: Firmware update failed due to an internal error. After that, the BIOS will roll back to the original version without update. Actually, I have been using the latest BIOS firmware to update the BIOS but still failed. Do you have any solution on my problem? Thanks.
