Always good to have a reminder that certain things are worth your time. I can’t count how many time I’ve said it’s not worth my time to salvage this or take something one step forward. And if I had done it by now I would have a ton of that item. In the scraping game small things make big differences. Thanks for another great upload brother. 💪🏻

@@ProjectShopFl you should get a Devil Forge or Castmaster 5kg furnace and start a melting channel. You could run the furnace as you scrap for these videos. It takes about 30-45 mins to melt the copper. Have a few bar molds for quick clean pouring and you have double your KZfaq income with basically the same work. Use the bars as giveaway prizes to your subs alternating the giveaways between your two channels to send subs from one channel to another or sell them on ebay. Just preheat your molds before pouring them to avoid stem explosions and put cardboard between the firebrick and crucible to keep them from sticking together. BigStackD has videos if your intrested. The whole setup would probably be around $700. The furnace comes with everything to get started except the molds but you will want a decent set of pouring tongs. The ones people make themselves are better than the store bought ones. Videos are available on youtube.

I'm over on the east coast by Cape Canaveral all of the Yards in this area won't pay number one unless it is bright shiny and free of any resin or lacquer. Almost never have I been paid for number one copper, they always have some excuse no matter how much I've tried to clean it up and sort it. One time I saw in their warehouse where they were mixing the really clean copper with tarnished copper pipe in a baling machine and crushing it all together into square bales and I have suspected ever since that it's really just a scam against the people bringing in scrap. Unfortunately the scrap industry is full of a lot of unscrupulous people, both buyers and sellers!

You must have a better arrangement with whatever yard you're taking that copper to. I do a lot of scrapping around here and any copper with corrosion on it is automatically number two copper. The only copper considered number one is Shiny Bright with no corrosion. At least it is here in in the Tampa area. All used AC whether it has solder or not or corrosion or not is considered number two at least around here.
