Hi!
Last time I bought three different LEDs. I tested them and compared to standard H4 bulb. I measured power and checked them in various conditions. It looks like LED bulb is really nice upgrade for every bike.

I want to thank you brother, for this video. I came across it by accident. I recently bought a LED light for my Cbr and could not iget it to fit bcuz of the security pin. After few days, I came across your video and you explained it perfectly and now I was able to install my LEd light. I got the same one that you liked in the video and it looks great. Once again, thank you for making this video! Ride safe brother!

Great video, thank you! Very well done and very informative, and also very well edited. Thanks for taking the time to compare the stock and three LED brands and for selling which was which. Interesting about the cut-off line and two of them having white spots above the main beam area. Anyway, thank you again 😉

Thank you for giving me the answers I have been looking for. I have been going to buy the LED number 3 for a while but was unsure about the light cut off and the rubber cover fitting over the lamp body but you have covered this brilliantly. Lamp life is another question but I will have to see for myself. Thanks again.

Hi! This LED is still working... and it is powered by 12 AC (not DC) all the time. Looks like it is very durable :)

That's a great comparison video, so much information in such short video, truly professional. I was using the 3rd type bulb(Nighteye 25 watt, 8000 lumens). Now I have upgraded to Novsight 40 watt, 14400 lumens(80 dollars) ,great upgrade with great focus. If you further make any comparison videos please include it.

Thank you for this interesting test. Number three seems obviously the best, but this might not be true under real life conditions in the long run. Is there enough space for the longer size in the DR? I think to remember that normally there are a lot of wires. Does the body of the Led become hot? And could you please name the fabrics?

It will be tested in real life conditions soon, now DR is in pieces ... :D I think it should fit, similar aftermarket leds are mounted in XR400 and there is also no space and a lot of wires. After ~2min body was warm, this black radiator is made from aluminium. Maybe in future i'll conect to the radiator some kind of temperature sensor.

dzieki stary za ten filmik. akurat czailem sie za jakimis zarowkami led i wybralbym cos pokroju 1 albo 2, natomiast dzieki tobie dowiedzialem sie, ze duzo lepiej wydaje sie formowac snop swiatla taka z przyslonka w ksztalcie zblizona do tego co jest w zarowce halogenowej. zobaczymy jak cos takiego zaswieci w moim reflektorze bo nie moze byc mowy o zadnych plamach ktore moglyby oslepiac innych.

Dobra uwaga. Faktycznie w pozostałych żarówkach ta przysłonka jest inna i działają one gorzej. Jak coś to ta "najlepsza - najtańsza" żarówka działa w obu motocyklach nadal i przegląd przechodzi bez problemu. Nawet było sprawdzane tą skrzynką do pomiarów świateł :) Jak za taki chajs to był fajny zakup :D

@@DawidMartasMotoAdventures jutub polecil mi pozniej jeszcze filmik od jakiegos rosjanina, ktory testowal kilka zarowek LED H4 i z tego co widzialem kazda miala wlasnie taka przyslonke lustrzana. badal tym pudelkiem ale takim bajeranckim z wyswietlaczem ktory pokazuje parametry, w tym natezenie swiatla czy odchylenie granicy odciecia. kazdy snop byl w porzadku, przy czym ta zarowka ktora i ty testowales dawala najslabsze natezenie swiatla (20Lx) ze wszystkich ledow, ktore wahaly sie od 30 do az 70, ale zwykla zarowka halogenowa daje 13Lx a taka super hiper osram daje 20Lx. z dzialaniem to pewnie troche kwestia szczescia. zamowilem na Ali zestawik, zobaczymy czy sie sprawdzi ;) obecnie kosztuja ok. 60 zlotych za pare wiec nie ma ryzyka ;) pozdro.

Ja jeszcze kierowałem się energo-oszczędkością :D W motocyklu XR400 jest instalacja o bardzo małej mocy. Chciałem zaoszczędzić kilka wat na oświetleniu aby podłączyć ładowarkę GPS. W drugim motocyklu dodaliśmy grzane manetki, które ciągną nawet i 4A. Pewnie warto byłoby znowu pooglądać co tam chińczyk wymyślił, bo pewnie poszło to do przodu w ciągu ostatnich lat :D Jak coś to daj znać co kupiłeś i jak to świeci :)

I use h4 in my truck I order 2 sets at a time lmao these cheap things burn out ! . Good thing is the old spars fit my bike!

Polecisz coś ledowego do Hondy? W sensie nie potrzebuje żarówki high/low beam tylko jedna co ma tylko low, a druga co ma tylko high ;)

W XR400 mam tą z lewego dolnego rogu. Te wszystkie LEDy mają większą dupę niż normalna żarówka i przy fabrycznej lampie zaczepiały mi o blokadę kierownicy ... dopiero do lampy polisporta weszły bez problemu. U Chińczyka jak kupujesz to dają zawsze 2 żarówki w zestawie. Nie mam pojęcia jak się nazywają inne rodzaje żarówek bo w samochodzie czy motocyklu zawsze miałem H4 z dwoma trybami (low+high) :D

Yes, you are correct. It is nice and cheap upgrade :) Also big advantage is low power consumption. In my XR400 engine produce only 80W (or 125W?). So, when you want to add more load (gps/phone charger, extra light) you can overload stator in engine. While using led you have extra ~35W (or ~2,9A of load, 12V).

Yes. We installed it last time and it works great! Also there is enough space :)

Did you keep it installed or swap to something else? What is the beam pattern and throw like in real use? I've heard a number of people comment that the high beam on these is not very good at all, very little projection.

I think it looks very similar to standard bulb and takes only half power of standard bulb. We just finished rebuilding of this bike and now we apply for registration plates. Road tests soon :)

I think those links change sometimes. Just search on Aliexpress "LED H4", sort it by number of orders and then look for similar looking LED bulb :)

And they are still working! I used one LED in DR350 headlamp and it fits without any problems. I tried to install second in XR400 but I failed. LED is blocked by steering lock. Finally I changed headlamp to Polisport LMX and now it fits without any problems. In XR400 LED is supplied by 12 AC - probably it gives now only 50% of light.

@Paul Benedict I bought it at Aliexpress (These LEDs are 100% China). Search Aliexpress for "hlxg 2Pcs CSP H8 H11 Lamp H4 Led H7 H1 H3 Car Headlight Bulbs For Auto S1 N1 H27 881 HB3 HB4 Led Automotive 12V 50W 8000LM 6000K". Pair cost $21.29 :D
