Awe man. That reminds me of a 1969 SS with a 427 that graced my garage back in the early 70's. (not a ZL1) just a transplant out of a wrecked 70 chevelle.

Need to add a Yank or Circle D stall to the mix. Bring the cam profile and the torque converter together for optimum performance. I'd suggest a 3400-3500 due to the weight of the Camaro. Us Corvette owners can use 3200 due to less weight. I'm boosted (A&A Corvette/Vortech Si V3. blower), A6 stalled (3200 Yank), 235/243 618/621 113+2 (Vengeance Racing "Kaotic" grind). Full Kooks long tubes,B&B exhaust, high flow cats I made 650/545 on 9 #'s. Stock LS3 intake/heads. 2008 base Vette. All that was done at 42k miles and the car's running strong as my daily at over 70k highway/city miles.

Love the sound. Looking forward to test driving an SS in the near future.

track mph will tell you the power. My ls1 head and cam 346ci went 126mph n/a. My 402ci went 131.8 mph n/a. I have a new motor being built now and hope with a 60lbs weight reduction to hit 135-136mph n/a then with my 300shot to run good. Your car is sweet and sounds bad ass..

Congrats on your build. It was gorgeous before but now it is totally badass. I got around to putting better tires on my 2SS I got the Nitto Invos at $280 a tire. (The stock run flats were $304) and man what a difference. They make them up to a 305 width I believe. Anyways tons of luck man! Enjoy you deserve it.

Cold starts are PRETTY LOUD?

Why did they cut the baseline run at 5800(ash) RPMs? It seems like it would start to flatline there, but should produced (slightly) more power at base. This car looks and sounds perfect bud, can't wait to see the post pro charger results! pretty good numbers...mine made 509 cam,heads,headers, on 91

i would probably just do a Magnuson supercharger and get all the hp and torque you will ever need 600 rwhp and around 550 torque on all stock. But it does zound good as hell brutha keep it up.

Just curious i'm getting my stainless works full exhaust installed next week. The headers come with only Valco's RTV and no gasket is provided (or req per stainless works). Did you use only the provided Valco's RTV or did you end up reusing or replacing your current gasket? Or maybe using Valco's RTV and your gasket?

I was planning on doing an exhaust off the bat, but after listening to that cam loop, I think that I would have to do that as well! How do you think this will play with the warranty? I know according to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, your warranty cannot be voided unless that specific part caused the specific failure. With that being said, what are your experiences with Chevrolet? Thanks again. Keep pumping out the content!

Forgive me if you mentioned this in a previous vid but, why didn't you just wait and install/tune everything at once? I would think it would be more cost effective. And congrats! She sounds fantastic! I have an STI, all built, making 420hp and 417 ft/lbs so I know how awesome it feels! And I am seriously considering trading her in for a 16+ SS. I really want a V8 and I hear the magnaride is fantastic 👍 PS- I would bet the ranch you're going to have to do fuel rails, lines, pump, and fuel pressure regulator. I went aeromotive and am very happy with the quality. GL and I'm gonna keep an eye out on your progress since I hopefully will be getting one.
