Death wobble plaguing your jeep? upgraded the track bar, steering, control arms? still having issues? Very well could be your ball joints. FCA/ DANA redesigned the axles for the new JL/ JT and that included the ball joints. Because of this, the only company that provides ball joints... is DANA. The stock ball joints have plastic internals, which will lead to rapid failure. After almost 3 years, DANA finally released a proper ball joint (don't get me started, these should of been the design from the start). Upgrading the plastic internals for metal. They also added a grease fitting to prolong the life of the joints. We had already replaced one half of the ball joints with the OEM version. You were able to move the studs by hand from the box. These new ones YOU CANNOT! After swapping these in, the death wobble has stopped in our sport JLU. Enjoy the video and the install!
