youtube seriously needs to update a ton of things. the playlist shuffle option breaks constantly, and operates completely differently from youtube music playlist shuffler, which doesn't break, but also doesn't actually shuffle the next video, it just shuffles the playlist and then loops that shuffled order. there's so many things they could add that would be great, multiple audio tracks for videos so you could have a video dubbed in different languages or have gameplay videos with and without commentary options in one video. just basic stuff that they've never added for some reason, and have instead gotten rid of genuinely useful features like links to other videos inside a youtube video. people use to make choose your own adventures with that, now it's all broken.

We're at a point of stagnation of most social media/big tech, where they don't have to care about quality of their services due to being the big dawgs that can't be upended anytime soon... Worse, YT and Insta being crap is because they don't intend on competing with tiktok because they assume tiktok will be banned by the government or something. Sucks all around. (Sorry to get all political and stuff)

I just make "remix shorts" from my existing content. I used to put effort into my shorts with all those nice subtitles and "flashy" edits but it turns out it doesn't matter. "Remixing" my content does better on YT shorts than uploading my own edited short. I made a whole god dang video about YT shorts and my beef with shorts so I won't go into it in your comment section. All I know is I got banned off tiktok for my "inappropriate" clip of my PG-13 joke from my Hero Movie and I don't even touch Instagram/facebook because I've had problems with my content getting freebooted there like crazy. Overall, vertical content sucks. Just turn your phone horizontally and watch my three-hour documentary on why the Martians are going to invade Delaware soon and we all need to start wearing our silicon hats before the lizard people turns our frogs gay. Or better yet, watch some funny videos horizontally from funny internet guy (you). Whatever works for me man.
