I think it’s worth mentioning that I discovered this channel while I was very sick and fatigued. These videos really made the “barely aware of what’s happening” experience better.

For big projects, I have a tendency to try and sorta blindly go ahead with it to avoid getting overwhelmed by the "workload". In either case, it's good you're clarifying to yourself and everyone what your original goal because most end up losing sight of their end goal. If you didn't stop and think about it, you could have ended up in 5 years with a 1m plus channel... but also lost sight of the joy and end up hating it or getting burned out... Maybe being coming as empty as Mr. Beast or all of those other channels. In either case, thanks for sharing your thoughts and mindset, you're doing gawd's werk, Reddy!

Ahh man, this is relatable as hell I used to do music for a living thru commissions and ghost writing. Turns out doing music for money made me hate it so much that I hardly ever make music anymore. Chasing money and turning your favorite outlet into a business almost ALWAYS seems to ruin things. I’m super f uckin glad that ur doin things for fun now tho Can’t wait to see the new shid ya put out I hope more creators start stepping//moving towards variety content, those are my favorite kinds of channels

I can tell you when I focused on Roblox content when I started out back in 2008, I started to hate it within a few years. So much so that I deleted all of my Roblox content and shut out my fans. I partially regretted it by doing that but it’s okay to branch out. Once I started doing live action content, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. Yeah, I’ve returned to making Roblox content every once in a while but it’s completely different than it was over a decade and a half ago. What I’m trying to say is that it’s okay to be a variety channel if this isn’t your main source of income. I haven’t made any money off this site and even if I do get to that point, I don’t see myself changing what I do now. I subscribed for the funny skits and reviews but i stayed for the creator behind it. While I can’t watch every livestream, I do try and watch all your normal content, not shorts though (sorry). Your true fans and friends will stick around as your interests change. I know I only have a small handful of those who silently watch all my stuff and others who tune in to certain stuff. Not every thing is going to be a banger and it’s okay to experiment. It keeps you from feeling burnt out and sometimes we all have that time where we get “creator’s block” or scrap a project. Just do what makes you happy on the channel and keep up the great work. You’ll find that one thing that balances that medium of keeping you happy and keeping your fans coming back.
