They actually are foam-"Rubber-coated, AirGo foam tires create a unique system that replaces pressurized air with foam to prevent punctures and untimely flats" Sorry about that!

No worries! Just happy they aren't plastic. One of the things we liked about the Vista was the more robust wheel...

If I buy the 2017 vista wheels and put it on my 2016 vista, will the width and weight of the 2016 vista decrease?

Hi! Yes, the wheels make the weight and width difference between the 2016 and 2017 strollers. As of right now, Uppababy has not confirmed that they will be selling 2017 wheel kits but we will be the first to let you know when they decide!

mbeans.com I talked to an uppababy rep via online chat on their website, I was told the wheel kits would be on sale in the spring of 2017

I got my 2016 around Christmas time for a very good deal brand new ($500 with tax). Is it worth paying extra $350 to upgrade it, since I have not opened them up yet, vender can take them back for an exchange.

Does the black 2017 vista have a leather handle?

It does not but you can purchase the leather handlebar separately for the Jake!

the wheels AirGo technology in the old model were publicited as offering more "shock-absorbing" capability than the competitors... does it mean that the new wheels in polyurethane are not so shock-absorbing? Can you feel a difference in hardness when you push them with your finger ? Maybe this is not so important in the Vista, but it could be in the Cruz because the Cruz has no suspension.

The updated polyurethane in the UPPAbaby wheels means they're thicker and more durable than last year!

Sure, more durable, but I was asking if the downside of this was a loss of shock-absorbing capability, compared to the old AirGo rubber ones... (rubber is usually more flexible than polyurethane).

the leather handle bar will make a good look but as the months goes by it will get ruin from folding unless you'll buy the leather cover which cover the leather but it will defeat the purpose. lol.....
