UPPAbaby designed the VISTA to support up to 35lbs in the Rumbleseat - this helps ensure that there is never too much weight over the front wheels, making it easier to turn. As long as your oldest is within the capacity of the Rumbleseat, they can sit in front with baby closer to you. If your toddler is over 35lbs, they'll sit in the upper toddler seat (holds up to 50lbs) and baby in the lower setting will be parent-facing in their car seat or bassinet so still close at hand!

Totally agree!! That’s the exact problem I’m having right now… I spent over $1000 to get the stroller and adapters 3 years ago, only to now find out I can’t put my younger baby on top and my toddler on the bottom which seems like a really dumb thing… 🤦🏻‍♀️

And I know it’s not your fault as you are not Uppababy, but that reasoning is still not helpful, because I don’t know any parent who would rather have their 35+lbs toddler closer to them on the stroller and their newborn further away… still makes no sense 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I can’t help but feel like this entire system was a waste of my money, since I can’t even place my children on it the way that is most convenient.

Thanks for watching! Yes, you can use a Nuna PIPA RX on the lower position by adding the upper adapters on top (for spacing) and the Nuna lower car seat adapter. However, the car seat adapter only works for car seats, so you will need the separate UPPAbaby lower adapter if using a bassinet on the lower position. Let us know if you have more questions!

Hi Adrian, thank you for reaching out! You are right, there appears to be an editing error in the video at that briefly shows a different adapter. You only need the Vista Upper adapters (model 0214) when attaching the Mesa car seat or Vista Toddler seat to the upper position as a double, these isn't a third adapter needed. The one you're seeing around 3:23 is actually a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter - sorry for the confusion! We would recommend using the Maxi Cosi Lower adapter when attaching a Maxi Cosi infant car seat to the lower setting - using the Maxi Cosi Upper adapter for the Vista on top of the Vista Lower adapter may bring the lower car seat too close to the upper seat.

Unfortunately, UPPAbaby discontinued adapters for the 2014-earlier VISTA some time ago, so you'd likely need to find them on the used market.

You just need to make sure both seats are facing forward and that you tuck the adjustable leg rest on the larger toddler seat all the way back behind so it will not hit the Rumbleseat when being folded. It will definitely be bulkier with both seats on and folded at the same time but is doable.

Hi there! You can use the toddler seat and RumbleSeat of the Vista V2 on the frame at once without any upper adapters needed, but the upper adapters are recommended to increase the leg space between the two seats!

The Vista V2 toddler seat is 21" from seat to top of the canopy! The canopy does extend up as well and the seat back height can reach up to 24"!

Yes! You are able to fully recline the toddler seat (when being used as a double that is the one in the upper position). The infant SnugSeat is just not compatible with the smaller RumbleSeat.

Hi Marianna, this configuration isn't recommended because the RumbleSeat only fits parent-facing. As a result, the child in the RumbleSeat would be an inch or two away from the bassinet, so it would be very uncomfortable. It's best to use the Toddler Seat in the upper position and bassinet in the lower position.

The VISTA's lower Rumbleseat holds up to 35 pounds or 36" tall, whichever comes first - if your toddler is still within the Rumbleseat limits, you can definitely do that! You'll have more space to recline the upper toddler seat though if the Rumbleseat is also attached parent-facing.

No, sorry! It can be used with a baby around 4-6 months, or once the child has their head and neck support. UPPAbaby does have something called an Infant SnugSeat that can be purchased separately and put inside the seat to use fully reclined from birth though! The Vista also comes with a bassinet in the box that can also be used from birth and can be connected to the stroller frame.

The Rumbleseat (lower second seat) and Toddler seat (larger main seat included with the stroller) are not interchangeable. For a toddler to sit in the lower position on the stroller, you'll need to purchase the Rumbleseat. If not purchasing the Rumbleseat, the only toddler / car seat configuration is the Toddler seat above with Upper adapters and Mesa car seat below with Lower adapters.

I hated The bassinet attachment on the bottom for a newborn constantly as I was walking my child and my newborn it have to keep looking around to check people with dogs walking up to the bassinet. it’s just not a good build up. At that time, you can start using the included stroller seat, which has a deep recline that is a safe and comfortable angle for older infants and toddlers.

Sorry to hear of any frustration with the seats! UPPAbaby made the seat similar in style to keep a cohesive look for the stroller. The two seats are a bit easier to tell apart in person, as the RumbleSeat is smaller in size, as well as not having an adjustable footrest like the toddler seat will have.

Toddlers are able to sit in the lower RumbleSeat up to 40 lbs now with the purchase of that additional seat! The only configuration where the toddler must be on top is with a bassinet being used on the frame at the same time. Hope this helps!
