axillary artery is divided into 3 parts by pectoralis minor muscle. 1st part: sup. thoracic. 2nd: thoracoacromial & lat. thoracic. 3rd: subscapular & ant, post. circumflex. axillary terminates into brachial artery at teres major. brachial artery has branches: profunda brachii, humeral nutrient, sup & inf. ulnar collateral. profunda brachii has branches: radial collateral, middle collateral. radial collateral anastomoses with radial recurrent. middle collateral anastomoses with interosseus recurrent. brachial artery terminates into radial and ulnar artery. radial artery (laterally) has branch radial recurrent. ulnar artery (medically) has branch 2 ulnar recurrents, common interosseus artery.

@AnatomyZone Small correction but I thought an important one, @1:18 seconds you said that it pecminor originates from coracoid process but in reality it does from 3-5ribs and inserts on to coracoid process, any way excellent video as always
@shadowxxrami66696 жыл бұрын
Kaushik Vi Yeah are right 👍🏻thanks for pointing this out
@diakdiak4 жыл бұрын
its relative soooo....
@Samuel-qc7kg3 жыл бұрын
@@diakdiak Not really. The origin is still, but the insercion is the one that moves.
@kyledickey39533 жыл бұрын
@@diakdiak no it’s not… The insertion is pulled towards the origin. The ribs are most definitely NOT being pulled towards the coracoid process when contracting, it’s the other way around. Things like that are NOT relative.

The brachial artery has 4 branches . 1.profunda artery which is the largest .It has two branches Radial and middle collateral artery (form anastomosis with radial recurrent artery and interosseous recurrent artery respectively) 2.humeral nutrient artery 3.superior ulnar collateral artery 4.inferior ulnar collateral artery The brachial artery terminates at the neck of radius to radial and ulnar artery Radial artery has one branch proximally -radial recurrent artery. I was diagnosed with aberrant right subclavian artery a month ago and I'm having a hard time understanding it. Does anyone know what it is? I know some of the symptoms it causes but is pain on my right arm a part of It?
