In September 2017, the Rohingya minority in Myanmar became a victim of ethnic cleansing.
Within a few months, 750,000 Rohingya crossed the Burmese-Bangladeshi border. One million refugees are now living in the Kutupalong camps in southern Bangladesh, making it the most populated refugee camp in the world.
In March 2018, Olga Farges set out to collect the stories of female Rohingya refugees. Many of them had been victims of sexual violence due to the systematic use of rape as a weapon of war by the Burmese military and Buddhist militias.
Some of these women welcomed the opportunity to have their experiences recorded.
Director: Olga Prud'homme Farges, Mélisande films
