They closing down day shift at my hub in Baltimore. I'm a low seniority driver and would get to work inside for my hours but now I was told I'm layoff the entire week next week and on top of that with dayshift disappearing it's telling me that I won't have my job at ups anymore. Alot of these volumes are going to these automated hubs. What worries me also is on the next contract ups will have total control due to having these automated building so alot of jobs at the low seniority will be gone, which is worrying me. Looks like I'm gonna be out of job. Which sucks cuz I waited so long to be a driver.

@BrickedOutMedia there are shift to work for, but I'm looking at the pattern that it's heading. Being a low seniority driver I can easy get moved out when it comes to driving, when they put me inside I had seniority over the part timers and I guess they was working me now dayshift disappearing more seniority would just move out, but if it was a temp thing I could deal with it but the projection that it looks like its head is very worrisome. Not because of volume but because of these automated building. It's going to take more and more. Until twilight shift is gone too.

@@BrickedOutMedia FedEx is closing Express stations in some areas to transfer volume to the low cost Ground contractor business, supposed to be completed by June 1 2024 not looking good.
