Hey, what’s going on man, is it true after road test you have to go to Integras school? I heard it’s like a week long but the closest one to me is in Maryland and that’s three hours away so I’m about to second-guess myself and not go.

What's going on man? If they offer Integrad to you, I highly recommend you go. Are they paying for your travel? I'm curious. I know a few drivers went to Integrad, and UPS paid for the travel. There's only a few locations nationwide. Let me know.

Stops and Locations same thing? Over in Amazon 1 stop could = 12 packages for 4 different houses within the same street
@BrickedOutMedia7 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment. In that scenario, that would be 4 stops at UPS. Or say an apartment complex, each different apartment number would be a stop. Office building, each separate suite number would be considered a stop.

Currently working at a Warehouse as a Sorter, I've only been in for 2 weeks. And so far I think it's pretty decent! I'm naturally a hard worker, so the workout doesn't bother me. Though sometimes it can get pretty chaotic, but I feel like that's the case for any position inside. I want to become a Driver, and I'm honestly not sure if my current position will make that easier or harder for me. Hopefully it'll all happen much sooner than later! Your channel is very insightful as I look for knowledgeable sources on UPS and how they run things!
@BrickedOutMedia7 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment and thank you for watching. It will get chaotic at times no matter the position. But, stay the course. If you want to become a driver eventually, you're in the right position. Just sign the driver bid list every time it comes (usually at least once per quarter). Don't forget to sign it EVERY time! Good luck and keep me posted!

Hey man great video. I have a question if you can help me out. Online says drivers typically work from 830am to 430pm, what's the average time you guys actually get to clock out? I imagine it's later than 430pm on weekdays, and do you have any choice to not work later on weekdays? Asking because I have church Wednesdays at 730pm and I don't want to not be able to make it to church. Thank you for your time. Any help would be greatly appreciated
@BrickedOutMedia7 күн бұрын
Thank you and thanks for watching. They're giving a ballpark time. It actually varies depending on the route your running that particular day. I'll give you what I normally see in my building. A few drivers might be off on a Wednesday by 4:30, I would say less than 10%. On a typical Wednesday, most drivers(probably 60%+) will probably get off between 6 and 7:45. That's pretty much what I've seen over a span of 10 years. Now, like I said, it depends on the center, building, and route. Once you make seniority, you can request an 8 hour day, which means they'll lightened up the load for you on a particular day. You can only request an 8 hour day twice a month. Overall, I wouldn't let that stop you from applying and getting in. If everything works out, I think you'll figure it out once you're there. I hope this helps. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
@wyattconyers44147 күн бұрын
That definitely helps thank you for the reply. How long does it take to get seniority to request an 8 hour day? I also have another question, since I know my best chance is to start in the hub as a package handler, what are the shifts and times for a package handler? I'm seeing varying times online for each shift. I'm trying to figure out what times those shifts are and what the average times are so that I can see if I can make it work with my current job. Also wondering if certain shifts for package handler are harder to get than other shifts? It's also hard to tell if in the job description whether or not the shift is listed or will they tell you that during an interview? Thank you for your time I appreciate it
@wyattconyers44147 күн бұрын
Also which driver position pays more or is the better choice? The 22.4 or the regular package driver? Those are the only two I'm aware of

UPS is a joke. They are notorious for messing deliveries up and will constantly change tracking updates. I had two out for delivery messages that were later updated to changed due to receiver's instructions when I never requested that. I was then told the package was being inspected for damage. It was a frickin tire. They are extremely incompetent and customer service is horrendous. They need to be held accountable

why are the package handler positions always only part time

Good question. Because none of the sorts run more than 4-5 hours. Preload, day sort, night sort, twilight, etc., it's several sorts throughout the day. Also, they normally have 1-3 hours or more gaps between them.
