It doesn’t because the Valkyrie is 2271 lbs and the Speed Tail is 3521 lbs and the Valkyrie has more hp which should boost it more and since it is 1300 lbs lighter it should be quicker

Plaids a good car! But should only be compared to other electric cars like McMurtry spierling. 765lt should be compared to supercars but beats hyper cars aswell, like the original sf90. They then upgraded the electric motor just to take on the 765lt. It normally takes a 1000hp & a bit of lightness to give the mclarens a run for their money

@Equalevolution all production street legal cars can be compared with each other whether ice, hybrid or electric. How much a car cost is the only reason cars should not be compared. Mcmurty is a one-off race car not really fair to compare it to a warrantied production street car anybody can buy. Sf90 beats the 765lt in drag, roll, track and top speed.

The Gemera has room for 4 adults and luggage ! That's more practical than a lot of common cars !

121mph is not that fast these days. I go faster than that on my Harley on a regular basis and that bike is almost 21 years old and stock standard. Same with my RCZ, it will cruise at 150mph where it is limited and that is a 1.6ltr engine

I hear you. I rode a motorcycle for twenty-five years and I feel MUCH more cofortable riding them, at ANY speed than I do driving an automobile. When I am driving a car, I feel like the "Wizard of Oz," standing behind the curtain, puling levers and turning knobs on the machine. My motorcycle, on the other hand, is an extension of my body! It can accelerate like a rocket to get me out of trouble and stop on a dime! I don't need to "steer" it. Flexing my glutes alternately is enough to lean the bike into any turn, simply by looking where I want to go. Anyway, after a "near-death" experience (epileptic grand mal seizure, six (6) brain surgeries, paralytic stroke and five (5) years in the hospital and Skilled Nursing facility,) my days of owning motorized vehicles of ANY kind are OVER! My next modes of transportation will be: my own feet, pulling a wagon or sled, depending on the weather and a SCHWINN "Meridian" trike w/basket on back for summertime. I'll try to keep the SCHWINN under 150 mph! 😊@@jamier7073

What tires do they use for vehicles on the Bonneville salt flats? Hennessy or SSC would need to butter up some darpa or Lockheed skunk works guys. For some super high tech tires. I figured he'd get help before the others since they are the only Americans. I like SSC more than Hennessy. But I do like Hennessy. What kills me is the prices of these cars. They are just not worth it. The price drops so so fast after you have had it for a while. Especially a Hennessy vehicle.

To own any of them, you would have to have so much money that such worries were something you had never experienced ... 😊 As for service - you pick them up in your private jet and bring them to the car. Which is why cars like these, engineering marvels though they are, are quite obscene.

While aerodynamics are certainly a huge factor (especially if you don't want to crash), the land speed record was set by the ThrustSSC jet-powered "car" that has over 100,000hp. So ~98,000 more horsepower than any of these cars.

I think because of marketing, I think produce about 600 cars a year vs. Koenigsegg's 60 cars a year. That figure might be plus or minus depending on if it's the sport, or super sport which is very limited.

And it's just about as practical as any of these turkeys. What a bunch of of rich-boy ego-strokers that really just say to the world I'm a daddy's money insecure brat who has to feel good about himself. And top speed is so irrelevant. Stop light wars are where its at. And the affordable, new-tech, self-made man's daily driver Tesla Plaid WALKS ALL OVER these noisy two seaters ALL DAY with zero maintenance vs "exotic" service intervals for these cars in the low thousands of miles and in the tens of thousands of dollars and that are as comfortable to drive daily as an M1- battle tank. And can only seat two. Barely. Come on guys, you don't need to prove anything. Start putting more of your money, and MOST importantly your time and attention, to where is can really make a difference to the less fortunate.

@@Leoneidas You have to put the Rimac Nevera in the same category as the Tesla and it is both faster at the top end and quicker 0-60 and the 1/4 mile. Unfortunately it is also ten times more costly.

The Dodge is a one trick pony though!! It's been designed for the drag strip. It's good at standing quarter miles but not much else. It wouldn't be fast round a track. Cross ply tyres are not race car tyres and dragsters don't do corners.

@@inactive67 All these cars are limited at 350km to be road legal, if you want to go over that speed you have to go to an official service to take that setting off and go to the track, if you do it outside the track there will be super huge consequences.
