Dan, how easy is the UR to program on the fly and do basic automation set up with let’s say pneumatic vices and what not for a typical job shop environment. We have med. vol runs all the time 300pcs etc. really think this robot can help us out.

amazing video .. im planning to buy a cobot to my factory but still doing researches on the best items . i wonder what type of PLC universal robot is connected to? can i connect the same PLC to out sensors which are on the conveyer and other robot so i make them work in sequence . im planning to do pick and place automation .

Im currently working on project where i have to make demonstration where universal robots UR10(gripper, machine vision, force sensor), UR5(gripper) and omron mobilerobot work together with humans. Fanuc and any other Industrial robot have the ability to detect if something is wrong , it depends how you program the robot. UR robots are kind of a very basic robot. Good for personal projects
