I hope Landon did well with his MRI. I have had 3 of them. Not my favorite thing to do for sure, but I did just fine. I kept my eyes shut the entire time and envisioned that I was on the beach relaxing listening to the waves crash. Amazing how much that helped.

Next time check into getting him into an open MRI - so much easier than a closed MRI if he has any issues with claustrophobic issues. That’s the only way I can get mine.

Hey, I think you should consider getting Invisalign for Landon. I have a friend with epilepsy that used to have braces but he had to get them taken off for every scan he had.

Feeling it for Landon..I’ve had several MRI’s and I’m very claustrophobic! I’m also a little on the Large side of things, so I go to an open MRI which basically has no sides. What helps me most is the eye shades. You don’t know when your in and it calms you down enough to go through the process. Sort of what they do to animals to help calm them down with the veterinarian visit. They give you ear muffs also with music and that helps cut down the loud machine noice. Not all clinics have these items but just so you know that these do help. You got this Landon! Prayers

I would have scheduled the rest of the work to be done till weeks after the New Year, that way you don't have to rush to take decorations and tree down.

I feel like when you get excited over a new appliance or redoing something in your house it makes you realize just how much of an adult you are lol! I'm 45 years old and I was so super excited to get our new dishwasher a few months back! Life is funny! The kids will get that one day.

MRI, i had one of those a while back, and being still is hard, even for an adult! and I had to hold my breath ,,,, maybe it will be easier for Lando,,,, hope all continue to improve health wise,,,,, glad to see that one guy in Lando's choir help him off stage,,,, speaks well of his fellow choir members, good group and they sounded GREAT!!!

Those are some cool looking scooters. I think it’s a little too dangerous to be going a top speed of 40 MPH. Anabel looks like she has a lot of fun playing in the snow. My family’s dogs seem like like the snow, as well, rolling their backs on it. 🙄😆

I'm going to miss the arches, it adds character to the house. The best part about getting braces off is running your tongue across them and eating popcorn. Video is only a few days behind..woo hoo I love it. I am sure some people like you to video one day and post the next but for families I say 3-5 days late is safer.

I've had lots of MRIs - they're fine - just loud and clunky, you can hear the metal moving around to different positions so they can get a different picture. I get to choose the type of music I want to listen to. You've got this! 🤗

Landon i hate having those done. I had one done when I had a stroke and have them 2 times a year to watch my brain bleeds its sucks buddy better than I am

I also have a cortical visual impairment. I was born with the entire visual cortex of my brain outside of my head, 48 1/2 years ago. I have a degree in music, education, vocal performance, and I have even got to sing for the President of the United States, twice, and at Carnegie Hall in New York. You can do it Landon! My baby had to have an mri a few months ago at 1.5 weeks old and they just gave him some sugar water concoction to make him happy and he went in the machine! He had to have an mri due to him having seizures affecting his breathing.

I had an MRI once as a kid, but I don’t remember why. I don’t think I had any problems. My question is what would happen if someone with braces had to have an immediate MRI? My advice is to Lando is to take these two weeks and eat all of the things you can’t eat with braces

i was hospitalized during my first year with braces and i had to get an mri and it went fine with my braces

I had 5 MRIs from 2014 to 2021 2 on my wrist and 2 on my left knee and one on my right knee im all healed up… I had lots of cat scans cause of my lungs back in 2019

I had to have my braces taken off 3 times for MRIs!

There is really no issue if the person keeps braces on for MRI. It may distort the pic of doing MRI of head/neck. For all the money the Bigham family have spent and continue to spend . The orthodontist should charge you nothing for this. I really hope your cost is 0$ MRI I think may take 15-45 ninjutsu depends

That is interesting, brace should be fine for MRI. That would be a pain to have braces off everything you get a MRI.

I have to have a MRI on in think the 28th of this month and i am nervous about it because it’s been about 10 years since my last MRI and i will be sedated and sometimes it scares me because you are alert then next thing i know I’m waking up in recovery. And I’m terrified of MRI’s and I’m 21 years old lol. Just turned 21 on Sunday.
