That was probably the worst of the losses in my life, just due to age. Seeing his mother go through that created a memory eternally seared into my mind. I saw firsthand what that does to a parent. And it stuck with me even though I was 11 at the time. I ufortunately had already gone through so much loss since childhood, that I was in some ways prepared me for losing my fiance - that in a weird way it was almost routine. If I can take that pain away from a grieving parent I will. There is nothing worse or more painful in this life than losing a child. Nothing. My father passed 4 months after my fiance so 2017 was truly a wretched year in my life. But having gone through everything prior up to that point prepared me. And even when I was at my lowest after dad died wanting to end it all, I rememebered looking at the friends who I'd just burried, mothers' faces, and coming back to reality. No matter what happens to me or how hard it gets, I will never take myself away from my mother. I'm admittedly not ok, and haven't been for a long time, but I will not allow myself to leave this world before her and make her have to bury her son. Sometimes it's not even strength, I appreciate you saying that, but often it boils down to us just not having another choice

I hope that it's because she is just tired of all the crying or it was some kind of cos. surgery that made the face so stiff. But her "sincerity" in her voice did feel very forced. I'm just really hoping it's because she's tired and nothing more.

But a mother may also be trying to stay strong for the other teen standing by her crying. I wouldn’t jump to conclusions just yet.

It’s almost as if some entity should be looking into these issues. I wonder who handles that? They’re basic, standard actually, investigative preliminary questions and initial forensic actions undertaken (where indicated wrt DNA) at the investigation outset. Calm down and allow trained professionals to do their jobs. Believe it or not there are competent detectives who solve murders and aren’t evil. I began my early career as a cop, an MP in the military and I’m now a judge after almost 2 decades spent as a prosecutor so I feel more than qualified to respond. Don’t expect anyone else to provide you anything substantive. For that you need to lower or eliminate your expectations because you’re not part of the investigative team, even if you’ve appointed yourself some form or manner of auxiliary member🤦🏾‍♀️
