I also feel awful for Larry Fitzgerald, who has always seemed like a smart, nice guy in interviews and a monster on the field. He has many, many things to be proud of in his career, but he will go down as one of the bigger wasted talents of his generation. One solace could be that his talent, personality, and loyalty are traits that have made him well known to and admired by fans everywhere and he will be remembered more than many receivers who've experienced far more success. In thirty years, do you think you're more likely to forget Fitzgerald (no rings) or Chris Hogan (two rings)? He is a player that every gamer wants on their team, and I'm sure he's held up thousands of simulated championships taking place all across the county, not just in Arizona. I think that's special, at least.

Fitzgerald's career has been way more successful than Joe Thomas or Calvin Johnson. Larry got to play in a Super Bowl while Johnson never won a playoff game and Thomas never even got a chance to play in the postseason.

I moved to Arizona earlier this year cuz my grandparents are here. My grandpa says that the Cardinals really don’t have much of a home field advantage. During Fall and Winter, people from up north come to live in Arizona to get away from the snow. They’re called “snowbirds.” So they go to the Cards home games and root for the away teams. The Steelers fans that showed up last weekend to the game is the perfect example. They were loud and numerous.

Every league has that one team that the casual fan occasionally notices exists. The Cardinals are that team in the NFL.

Besides Fitzgerald, who probably will never win a ring, I really felt for Bruce Arians, especially when he made his initial retirement. Yes, he won two Super Bowls with the Steelers but he’s such a great offensive mind and knowledgeable head coach that I was really pulling for the Cardinals to win during his tenure. Not a Cardinals fan, but Arians really deserved better, especially with his harsh injury luck. Now he’s coach of the Buccaneers which really confuses me. He’s had several health scares, while coaching a bad team like Tampa would be really stressful for him. I’m not a Cardinals fan, but I absolutely loved that NFC Champion team and the 13-3 team. They both had Fitzgerald obviously but I found those teams to be so much fun to watch. Especially because Kurt Warner is one of my all time favorite quarterbacks and seeing him and Carson Palmer rejuvenated was simply awesome.

Growing up as a 49er fan there were season 2 that the Cardinals played very good but most of the time they were always a bad team. Chandler Jones, Cardinal fans know him well, he won a super bowl with the Pats in 2014. Kliff, he was a no name backup for a person named Brady, Malcolm Butler, made the pick for the 2014 championship, Russell Wilson is still in the mourning of not running it to Beast Mode and now has to face off against him 2 times a year. If they end up in the same situation and fail, Seattle will call for Carroll’s head. Oh yeah, Pete Carroll was also apart of the early Patriots. I said early for a reason, he was bad on all occasions and was one of the worst hires that Kraft has ever made.

This season it’s now just our defense that’s ruining our record. We have a solid offense and a good QB, but the defense keeps ruining close games. Also Bill Bidwell died, allowing his son to fully take over, which is good because Michael Bidwell is the reason we FINALLY got out of Sun Devil Stadium, and got to the super bowl.
